  1. Anybody know what the scale length is? The spec doesn't tell us - unless I've missed it. If I have missed it, then why don't they make such a fundamental piece of information more prominent?
  2. +1 for the short-scale (30") Jag. I've also owned an Ibanez Mikro and TMB30. The Mikro is impressive for what it is but with around a 28" scale felt like a toy. The TMB30 was a mess in terms of quality and was immediately returned/exchanged for the Jag. I used the Jag as a back-up for a while and it proved more than adequate on the couple of gigs when I had to use it. Btw, all I play is short-scale basses and to regard them as in any way less worthy than a standard 34" scale instrument or 'not for grown-ups' is a big mistake. They will deliver most of the sounds their longer-scale alternatives can do plus some that the big uns can't. Of course, if all you want are the distinctive and delightful tones of a classic P-bass, then that's what you need to play - provided you can.
  3. Paid a couple of hundred quid new for a VM s-s (30") a couple of years back. Excellent value for money. Got it as a back-up, fitted my favourite strings and it's done a more than adequate job the couple of times I've had to gig with it.
  4. And my One10 is driven by an Eden WTX-264. Sound really sweet together.
  5. Already got mine thanks to Fender (they don't know about it) and Andy Jr. http:// http://
  6. +1 for contacting Ashdown. There's no other company anywhere that supports its products as well as they do.
  7. Currently have a One10, a couple of Two10s and a couple of SC3s. The single 10-incher is a keeper but one pair of cabs will go when I decide which I prefer. At the moment the SC3s are just edging it (my Eden WT550 sounds SUBLIME thru these) but I'm also experimenting with different amps before I finally decide on the 'stack that rules all stacks' 😊
  8. Best of luck for the best outcome.
  9. Not unless I've missed something 😉 - but thanks for the bump. It's one of those situations where I'm selling a bunch of stuff and won't be disappointed if this remains unsold - it really is that good.
  10. Good luck! Hope all goes as hoped for.
  11. I wouldn't spend any more money on this except to replace something that is truly disfunctional / unfit for purpose.
  12. Another Wapping 'lurker' checking in here! Bought various bits and pieces including a wonderful Jaydee T-bird custom for £400 (I haggled the price down from £450). The BC guys didn't know anything about it so I rang the man himself to see what he could tell me. "Ah yes, I remember it! One of a matched pair I made for Dave Mason when he joined Delaney and Bonnie." Sold it later to a guy in New York for more than double what I paid for it! 😊
  13. Can also be used as ear-defenders in between playing 😄 Actually I'm told by those who have also attended other bashes that ours is relatively good re 'unwanted ambient noise'. Nevertheless I promise to enforce our noise rules to the best of my ability!
  14. Nice sounding bass - liked everything else too!
  15. Always handy if you need somewhere to park your bicycle.
  16. OK, I'm rising to the invitation for OM stuff, albeit at a private party. This is what you get when your singer/songwriter/bandleader is a TV video cameraman and his mates bring their gear to the party! Not sure if it will work btw as I've never posted video on here. If it doesn't, maybe some kind soul will pm me an idiot's guide (I am that idiot 🙂) and I'll try again. OK, failed miserably to upload MP4 file - help!!
  17. Bummer commiserations and good luck.
  18. Come on guys! BD are selling this package for £745 so this is a great saving.
  19. This top-class amp incorporates a valve pre and should be good for another decade's service (or several) following recent overhaul by V Amps (Pete Searle). Delivers 550w at 40hms or 660w at 2ohms. There's been lots on this forum about the wonderful 'baked-in' Eden signature tone and this one with its valve pre-amp is a great example. Price includes the pictured alu case with one-piece fitted high-density foam insert or the Gator rack case in which it's currently mounted (no pic's here but will send if required). http://[/url] I don't want to ship this but happy to deliver/meet up anywhere withing 1 hour's drive from Taunton.
  20. Only 9 months old, not gigged so looks/sounds/operates like new. Comes with foot-switch and Gator bag. Will deliver/meet anywhere within 1 hour's drive from Taunton or package securely for collection is shipping arranged and paid for by buyer. Can send pic's if required.
