  1. That doesn't sound right - as far as I know it's still £7 single, £20 multiple. If this thread doesn't get picked up by a moderator first, drop ped a pm and he'll put you straight.
  2. That's beautiful Andy and just how I wanted it to be - not sure how you knew that as I didn't even know it myself
  3. I was up for it til I saw the 'MADE IN CHINA' bit at the bottom. I've ordered the wig though
  4. Come on somebody - treat yourself, it's nearly Xmas
  5. Nice work. What next - official coat of arms?
  6. Don't worry mate - if it's kitchen paint, at least I know it'll wipe clean.
  7. Hey Andy, what are you doing the kitchen in - faux fur, leather, or good old Osmo 3014? As long as you don't get mixed up and finish my bass with a coat or two of Dulux emulsion
  8. That's an interesting post SpondonB - I often wonder why composites aren't more commonly used for guitar bodies. As you say, though, it's a tradition/heritage thing - and I'm sure that moulding carbon-fibre wouldn't give Andy the satisfaction he gets from working with natural materials.
  9. My fault - I particularly wanted to retain the original controls.
  10. I'm counting on you me owd pink-torpedole-sparra!
  11. Wouldn't dream of doing anything else
  12. Dramatic progress there Andy - I'm dead chuffed
  13. Good luck! (I think you should take up a less demanding hobby - like brain surgery )
  14. Fantastic! I've been looking forward to seeing how the lipstick pups look on the walnut - and I think they look gorgeous
  15. Thanks very much for the thought and, yes please (I've already paid for the hall hire). Entrance price including food & drink will be the same as last year at £10. Could those who are happy to pay now pls pm me and I'll reply with payment details.
  16. Not my thing, but a beautiful thing - and at a bargain price. So, GLWTS and I hope your Christmas is a good one.
  17. I have the WTX264 and it's really, really nice. I've handled the 10" cab and it's noticeably heavier than my featherweight BF One10 (7kg) but still very manageable. (Actually it felt more substantial and better made the BF.) Don't know how well it handles the low-frequency end but I would say this will be a cracking little rig and you'll be getting the full juice out of the amp with the 4ohm cab.
  18. Nice work Norris - and it's only gone and changed 'penile' to 'puerile' on your last post!
  19. Glad you're back from 'the Dark Side' - and thanks for the update. Every time I've followed your previous build diaries, I've wondered what it must feel like to be the lucky pink torpedo who's commissioned it; now I am that pink torpedo!
