I really do not understand why people don't just use washers as straplocks. Loads less fiddly and it will never slip. Plus you look more rock n' roll.

For example - this is a secondhand bass on sale at BD. The description reads, "A secondhand bass in immaculate condition". Please look at this link and tell me this bass is 'immaculate'.

I've had failed auditions but never been fired. I sort of knew when it was time to leave and the band would usually implode 6 months -ish later. The last band I was in, everyone quit except me! Not because of me though...

You can tell the last album was written mainly by Flea or came from bass grooves. There is very little guitar riffing going on - sort of killed it for me.

I've seen loads of new basses with scratches, dings, bumps on. Not a weird question to ask. How can it be 'mint' or 'like new' if everyone coming into the shop has been playing it for 6 months maybe more?

Hi Beams are a little scooped sounding and Fat Beams focus on the mids a bit more.

Bass Specialities I believe is the name of the store.

I bought an OBBM cable as my 'main' lead... 7 years later and still going strong throughout countless gigs.
