1. I'm sure you can adjust the pitch accordingly.
2. Now you're just being sheepish.
3. These are lower tension than Sunbeams. Drop D I would not recommend on these strings.
4. Point well and truly missed.
5. Well you are if you diss something without listening to it.
6. How many white, working/middle class men listen to Kanye or any hip hop? Don't come out with 'I heard College Dropout X years ago'. Of course you don't get it. Therefore, you don't listen to it. How can you diss something you've never heard before? Morons.
7. If a BF cab doesn't shift enough air for you then you're probably gonna need two cabs...
8.
And neither can I believe that he named his son North.
Daughter... come on, keep up. The master of self promo has got you all talking about him again.
9. Give us a pun! We're having a whale of a time!
10. I like it when my tone controls actually do something.
11. I'm just curious as to why people start threads like these then ignore everything said in it.
12. He's still reading this probably, hoping for another rookie to put down. Bit of a damp squid if you ask me.
13.
How big a sample size? I ask because experience of your posts generally points to you being something of a troll, so I'm inclined to take anything you say with a tablespoon or two of salt.
Whatever answer I give, you will counter with something so what's the point? Jog on back to Tecamp.
14.
I think anyone who has thoughts of quitting playing under the OP's scenario was never really in it. Blue
Sorry but I massively disagree. I nearly quit 6 months after first starting bass. I had lessons for a few weeks and then my teacher broke his back... I lost interest and became bored of the instrument. Fortunately, I got put in touch with a new teacher who was great and really inspired me to play better. The last 15 years have been a blast.
15. In some people's eyes, yes.
16.
You say this from experience or merely following the herd?
Experience, bosworth.
17. Until they break. Which they will.
18. Why I don't play pubs.
19.
Not sure I agree with that, the Remission/Leviathan sounds different to Blood Mountain, which definitely sounds differnt to Crack The Sky, which again sounds different to The Hunter and Once More Around The Sun. Personally I wish we could have back the Mastodon who wrote Remission and Leviathan, but I get why they've progressed. As for bands that always do what you expect, I'd go for Slayer - you know what they're going to do, and wouldn't have it any other way
Crack The Skye is a masterpiece IMO... best metal album of the 00s.
20. Mastodon and I'm a big fan too... hence why they're falling down festival line ups. Korn up until that dubstep album(?!). Oasis... Slayer/Megadeth/Anthrax. That's why Metallica got big and they didn't. AC/DC haha! Motorhead.
21. Boss MD-2 is it?
22. The question is, what decade of metal was best? 80s, 90s, 00s or 10s - now?
23. I get asked more about my bass because it has nothing on the headstock. Pretty sure that's more than someone with a battered old Fender who starts whittling on about when it was made in 1942...
