Hi all, For sale a great condition power bank, only ever used at home. I'm moving away from the effects I got this for, hence the sale. All the goodies shown in the pictures are included but any questions or additional pics needed, just let me know. I can post for a fiver, or collection also welcomed. Thanks, Rick

Hi all, For sale is one good condition bluetooth page / lyric / sheet music turner . I used this when doing a bit of singing whilst playing bass, which thankfully for punters everywhere, I no longer do! Can post for a fiver ish, or collection is welcome, too. Any questions or additional pictures please let me know. Thanks, Rick

Hi all, For sale is 1 excellent condition Keith McMillen 12 step, with lightning adaptor to iPad included. I've been running this at home only since buying on here, using the Korg iM1 ipad app (free app), but I have left the band I was going to use it for. The number 3 pedal for some reason has never seemed to illuminate since I've had it - no functionality issue beyond that and when the board is lit, there's absolutely no mistaking where the pedals are! Couple of pictures below but message me if you'd like any more. Happy to post at cost, can't see it being more than £10 insured. Collection also welcome. Many thanks, Rick

Hi folks, I'm just listing a Keith McMillen 12 step in the for sales here, if anybody is inspired by the thread and is looking for one! Ipad adaptor included 🙂

Free to a good home (or rehearsal space!) - probably worth a few quid still but thought I'd give something back to the BC community... Works fine, the tweeter is a little noisy but fine when playing, and silent when off. Carpet covering in decent enough nick. Collection only please from Cullingworth, c20mins from Bradford. Cheers, Rick

I've got the UE6s on EBS Freaks recommendation, and can't speak highly enough of them. Whilst they have buckets of headroom, they've been awesome during lockdown for general music listening too (gigs are where it's at though!). I had the Shure 535s before and the UE6s were a massive step up, worth the investment. Good luck whichever route you go!

Sterling by Musicman Ray 34 in black with a white pearl scratch plate. Fantastic bass with a very powerful and flexible active 3 band eq. Recently professionally setup and restrung with Rotosound swing bass strings, with new 9v battery installed. Additionally included items: Gator hardcase that has been used about half a dozen times, hipshot D tuner BT7 installed with original tuner included, Dunlop strap locks, and black pearl scratch plate pictured. Guitar stand not included. Condition is used, but very good; some light marks here and there as you'd expect, but no major dings. Selling as I have a custom bass being built and it's one in one out (actually 2 out on this occasion!), and as such no trades thank you. Collection (with optional socially distanced brew!) / meet up is much preferred, but I can arrange a courier at cost as the hard case is included. Let me know if you'd like any further photos or have any questions. Many thanks, Rick

Starting at http://www.custom-inearmonitors.co.uk/ would be my suggestion - they do a range of brands and won't instantly recommend you the most expensive ones. I got some ultimate ears UE6s which are brilliant, @EBS_freak is your man for more detailed advice though. Custom Iem's are well worth the investment though, good luck!

I've got a 5 string V7 for sale in the bass section if it's of interest! Great bass, I just can't handle a 5 string so back on a 4!

Sire V7 or P7 for R&B/Neo-Soul recording?
Rik (ESA) replied to This Town Needs A Hero's topic in Bass Guitars
I have a 5 string V7 for sale in the bass ads here for £300, if you wanted to try out for not much brass! It's not Burgundy though I'm afraid! Brilliant bass, I just can't handle the 5th string so I'm back on a 4! -
I had to come up with a very short notice solution when the venue we turned up to play didn't have enough aux channels. I used an Alto zmx52 mixer that we keep for emergencies, took a signal from my bass into one channel, and ran a spare overhead mic into another channel. The overhead was placed on the other side of the stage between drummer and guitarist and pointing to the singers, and worked surprisingly well. I ran my Iem's on a 2 quid headphone extension cable from the Alto mixer as I'd already lent the drummer my behringer P2 for the night. I also dabbled with a stereo mix that night as a result, and now I'm itching to delve further into that, but with "proper" aux channels! The mixer was about 50 quid, and the condenser is a Thomann own brand I believe, in the region of 25 quid. That plus an xlr and you've a very compact and I think affordable option where the ideal aux setup isn't available, as I'd happily use it again. The one caveat I'd add is that I don't sing in this band, so the vocals were lower in the mix naturally as they weren't directly input to my mixer, but I would have them that way anyway. Hope this helps. Rick

**ON HOLD** Sire V7 5 string bass in black with maple fretboard
Rik (ESA) replied to Rik (ESA)'s topic in Basses For Sale
Hi - I've had a few PM's asking about the weight, and my response has been that I don't have any scales, unfortunately! A trawl through various sites suggests they are around 9.5lbs on average, so not the lightest but it certainly wasn't an issue for me; I used it with a neotech strap (the bungee type!) and it always felt fine, personally. Thanks, Rick -

I believe the charming Mr Fuzztube is relatively new here, so starting a feedback thread for him, pleasingly on an entirely positive note. James bought a Sansamp Flyrig from me last week - excellent comms throughout and a pleasure to deal with, deal in confidence. Welcome to Basschat James!

Thanks for the tip, it was more the massive HX power supply I was trying to get away from though!
-
Ah fantastic, and does that seem to work well enough, ie no grounding issues etc? Absolute money saver if so, just the power to sort for the rest... Thanks everyone!
-
Hi all, sorry if this is answered elsewhere... I currently have the HX stomp, and a smooth audio wireless. I'm looking to add the morningstar midi pedal and a small Di box, and am interested in people's views on both a suitable Di box, ideally under £100, and views on best options to power the whole board? Many thanks, Rick

Excellent piece of kit, bought from new when they were first released and it's been an absolute work horse since. Condition is as expected, good to excellent with just the odd nick as its been rackmounted most of its life. Comes with original tin, however I'm not sure if the power supply is the original... It works perfectly and might well be the original, I just can't recall! Any questions let me know, but happy to post at cost or arrange to meet / collect. Thanks, Rick

**Price drop as I've seen something I would like!!** And so yet again, my 4 yearly process of thinking I can play a 5 string, buying a 5 string and realising I can't has concluded it's current cycle. The victim this time was this lovely Sire V7 bought new from Anderton's in 2018. It's seen 3 gigs, and about as many rehearsals, alongside some home playing. It's a lovely bass especially for the price, you've probably seen all the reviews online if you're reading this anyway. Selling simply as I cannot get my head around 5 strings, as much as I want to! All the flexibility you could want sound wise, with the 18v active circuitry and very usable eq. The only point to call out is that there is little buckle rash on the rear of the bass, and a little mark by the input jack. Both of which are nearly invisible when playing as the pictures should show - the close ups look far worse than the reality. Rest of the bass is in great condition. Happy to arrange collection / meet up / courier (if absolutely essential, though I'd sooner avoid), and any questions / additional photos please let me know. Comes with original box, for what it's worth! Not really looking for trades, and all set for basses (unless you have a musicman special charcoal sparkle!!), but happy to listen to other offers you may have. Thanks, Rick

Good condition bass cab with more kapow than the price suggests. A couple of light nicks in the covering but only very small, and purely cosmetic. The horn is a tad noisy at when it's on full, but certainly not noticeable when playing with a band. Could be that a lot of horns are like that - I always switched it off so I'm not sure! Happy to courier at cost, UK mainland looks to be about £20 with lashings of bubble wrap etc. Collection / local drop off is fine too. Any questions give me a shout. Thanks, Rick

Thanks again Russell, great to meet you and pick your brain; invaluable guidance today and really looking forward to getting going with the UE6s!

We're moving to hiring an external PA company for gigs now so I'm selling some equipment. These two mics have been used on their own, and also together which makes for a phenomenal thwack! Both in great condition, with very minor marks. Audix has the mic clip it came with, and both have original protective cases and boxes. Inidivdual prices are: SOLD PENDING THE USUAL Audix D6: £145 plus postage STILL AVAILABLE Sennheiser e901: £175 plus postage Any questions let me know, and I'll add some pictures shortly. Trades wise, I'm not after much at the moment but by all means make a trade offer if you have one. Thanks, Rick
