1. Now that's great news indeed!
 2. Hey, Oliver, where are you located? Somewhere close to me (Karlsruhe)? I´d love to check some other Walbasses :-) Hi Jens, I'm in Essen, NRW. Should take you some time to get here tc Oliver
 3. That's right - I got it and it's a real Killer! Hi there WombatBOTER (see, I'm still able to learn ), cheers again for the great day at your place! I just say funky fingers ... Couldn't help but attaching a picture ... In the meantime I've purchased an E-MU Proteus 2000 and now the WAL has become a real orchestra. There really are limitless possibilities, and even without the MIDI this one sounds (and looks) awsome - a great player. Two miliseconds of MIDI latency - two miliseconds! If you're into the MIDI WAL world check out this great player I found on the www by chance: http://www.4barmusic.co.uk/pages/midihigh.htm I know that only about 100 of these killer basses were built by Pete, so the search will be a tough (and an expensive) one. Best of luck to you! Cheers Oliver
It got sold to a German bassplayer after being advertised for a long time on al lot of bass sites... no one seemed to be interested in it. I got the price back which I paid for it so I didn't want to make any profit also.. Sorry that you didn't get it..
4. Hallo Jens, endlich noch ein deutscher Walnut auf'm basschat U.K. Welcome! Oliver
 5. Sorry for having caused any confusions, but it is only the NECK I'm selling!
Hi all, It's still available: just got a 1982 fretted neck for my lined fretless 1985 MK I and it fits like a glove. Since I already have a great fretless tone with my Hybrid-WAL and its 1979 pro I fretless neck, I'm selling my spare, original lined-fretless neck with chrome Schaller tuners (but without the string-retainers, for I need them now for the fretted neck), signed by Pete himself in October 1985. I'm asking 400 English pounds or 520 Euro plus shipping which I reckon a reasonable price for an almost unplayed WAL-neck in showroom condition which would cost 600 English pounds new. A great opportunity for the "swapping studio bass-player". I'm in Germany, international shipping is welcome, but there may be additional customs duties to be payed. Anyone interested? Cheers Oliver
6.
Hello & thanks for the tip. I already posted it on the walbassesnaturally forum, but since last Thursday I have been having problems with posting at all there - the Yahoo customer service is still trying to fix it.
It's still available! tc Oliver
 7.
As well as here, it may help you achieve a sale quickly if you post it on the Wal forum here: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/walbassesnaturally/ Good luck with it!
Hello & thanks for the tip. 9. WAL basses - either my MK I 1985, my MK II fiver 1987, or my customized fretless hybrid-WAL with the 1979 neck. Sometimes, for some rough tunes, I use my customized 1997 Stingray. Incredible tonal spectrum.
 10. These WALs are plain killer basses. My MK I is a lined fretless and there is a custom made with buckeyed burl tops I made myself with the help of my wife and a German master bass luthier. Enjoy them! Oliver Here are mine:
