Thanks for the link to here! It is interesting indeed, hmm quite a bit considering I'd probably only use the splitting functions. Presume there's not any preordering discounts or anything? Have a feeling I might be better just building an ABC-Y box or something.
2.
I do like the pedaltrains and I have seen them in action. What other powerblocks can fit underneath? Many thanks!
I'm sure a lot of them can but personally I use the johnnyshredfreak one and there's loads of room under there for it.
3. Peavey Fury I I'm pretty sure is the skinniest neck I've played. Not the easiest things to find though.
4. Anyone know of any expression pedals with multiple outputs? Without limiting the sweep range. Would like to be able to use a single expression pedal to control mutliple pedals, but if I split the output from a normal pedal then the attenuation will mean that fully down may only be half on or something like that right? I am aware of the Moog MP-201 but this is expensive and does a lot that I wouldn't use (would be extremely tempted if it could create a midi clock from a tap tempo though) so any other suggestions would be great. I presume theoretically if I got the correct pot I could swap the one in an expression pedal so splitting it would end in the same output as the standard pot non split also?
5. LEDs do require the correct polarity, most likely it's this causing the problem.
6. I'd have a look at Pedaltrains second hand on eBay, I picked up the largest one off there for about £50, absolutely fantastic quality and you can get the ones in a soft case if that's what you prefer. There is also Wilton pedalboards, that are basically a cheaper copy.
7. Boss TU-50 is the only one I can think of, been out of production quite a long time now though but they never seem to die so eBay might be a good bet.
8. The Black & Gold was the US name for what was called the Elite here so it is similar to the bass Cliff used just of the two pickup variety. These pages from the previously mentioned resource should cover most of what is known. http://www.matsumoku.org/models/ariaproii/bass/sb/sb.html http://www.matsumoku.org/models/ariaproii/bass/bg/bg_bass.html
9. The older Peavey's are fantastic in my experiences, I have an original Fury I which I think was the only American made model of that series, but for the price I paid is an absolutely fantastic unit. Can't suggest any pickups that will fit though.
10. There's plenty I'd trust with a well packed bass, but I haven't heard of any that offer insurance without a hardcase.
11. Not Boss but I really like the EBS unit.
12. Just wondered if anyone has experience of both of these? I'm after a Synth pedal at the moment and really like some of the sounds I've heard from the Super Synth but then the G5 seems a lot versatile but then doesn't seem to have the same low end that I've heard from the SS. Obviously the G5's also much larger and quicker to use as you don't need to cycle through presets but if anyone has any further insight that would be great.
13. Would add my continued interest in the hot hand on it's own if you're thinking of selling it seperately.
14. No as it's in within the EU, they probably won't price match though.
15. Intro to Who Are You, by The Who and Dirty Frank by Pearl Jam though that may kind of be covered by the RHCP comment.
16. Chris bought my old Columbus Jazz was great to deal with all round, communication good and very very quick at paying and replying. Thanks
17. Price wise I'd have a search on here for what others have been advertised at and also look at eBay (but then a lot of people take off 10% that you'd otherwise be giving to eBay just as this is a community that generally believes in looking after it's members) if that still shows no result then other then I'd just start high and gauge interest, then lower it and see when people pitch in there or just decide how much you'd be happy with for it.
18. Personally my pinky sticks out and I play with three fingers so they are curled towards ready to play whenever. Wish my little finger wouldn't just sit there stuck out like that though!
19. Personally I'd take the first offer you received of £350, I've not seen one of these sell for more than that in quite a while. £350 is a really good price for you for it, probably selling for a little more because the blue is unusual.
20. Presume you don't have the pickup cover kicking around anywhere then?
