1. Website blurb; The new VX "Very Extreme" Series bass reflex cabinets were designed for bassists who demand excellent tone but prefer traditional paper cone drivers. These warm, punchy enclosures feature proprietary drivers with specially treated cones, impregnated fabric surrounds, matched convex dust caps all mounted in heavy steel frames. The high efficiency low moving mass design allows for maximum output and plenty of headroom throughout the full range of the driver. Rounding out the tone, each cabinet has a proprietary design horn loaded high frequency transducer. Using Heavy-duty plywood construction, the rugged carpet covered cabinet has strong protective corners, ergonomic handles and a recessed jack cup protecting its two 1/4" inputs. The VX115, handling 300 watts, features a 15" low frequency driver and the high frequency transducer. Heavy-duty plywood construction One 15" proprietary driver One horn loaded high frequency transducer Power Handling: 300 Watts @ 8 Ohms Ergonomic handles Parallel 1/4" Inputs Good condition overall been gigged a handful of times but is in virtually perfect condition other than minor black scratches on the Hartke badge on the front. After a quick sale as I'm selling a few bits to try and fund buying a replacement I have my eye on. So £80. I'm fairly central in Sheffield, would consider posting at cost if necessary. Have feedback on here and also on eBay through account: smilingllama.
2.
What was wrong with it in the end?
No idea it did the old magical fixing itself trick, so I'll probably never know! Thanks for the advice on the switch though if I remember correctly there's 6 connections on there I'll probably just use a 3pdt though.
3. Where would I be best to get a replacement from? What exact switch would I need? Thanks
4. Started testing it again with the bottom of and now it's decided to work fine, will put it back together and hope it stays that way!
5. Originally bought here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21257&hl= James' description is better than anything I could write and the condition is still exactly as stated in the original thread. Still works exactly the same as it did then, in all honesty I've barely used it since owning it. Not sure why I bought it as I haven't had a situation where I could ever actually use it to it's potential. After what I paid so £75, would consider trades for other pedals. (Particularly a good tuner, but interested in most that aren't a fuzz, distortion, digital delay, synth, eq or wah) Have feedback on here and also 330 odd 100% positive on eBay with user smilingllama.
6. My Ashdown Lomenzo Hyperdrive has suddenly become a mute switch! Still powers up but when switched on absolutely nothing comes through it anymore. Any ideas on what's likely to have broken on it, and whether I've got any real chance of being able to fix it? (happy to sit with a multimeter and check relevant components) If it makes any difference it was working perfectly Thursday night then sound checked for a gig last night and that was when it started.
7. Traded a pedal with Neil, very friendly, straight forward and fast guy to deal with. Definitely would recommend.
8. Boss V-Wah for sale, sounds great with bass and has a wide selection of different sounds. Comes unit only but can be powered by a standard Boss adapter, in reasonable condition some marks from general use but nothing major. Would ideally like a trade (possibly with cash too) for another pedal, interested in any of the following; Synth, Analog Delay, Feedback loop, Volume or possibly a Tuner. Otherwise £60 posted? Any further information or for photos feel free to ask.
9. Hi Not exactly sure where to put this, but I'm currently looking into distribution paths for a possible new product, and so am looking for larger distributors within the UK. Obviously a large amount of items are ordered direct from manufacturer but I have been given the impression that a lot of the independent stores are using distributors for accessories and the smaller items. Any help with names of possible distributors would be really helpful? Thanks Simeon
10. I've always liked the idea of having dockable pedals so they'd mount straight into a docked pedal board (or single dock enclosures for indivdual units) that connected up just through docking.
11. Aargh would love this is I wasn't totally broke right now! Should be starting some work monday though not sure when I'd get paid if it's still around would definately take it off your hands though! Would depend on if you'd be able to ship it or not though.
12. A bump for you for a fantastic piece of kit, proof that Behringer can do some things very well!
13. Looks like this ones gone pending collection.
14. Hi I've got an OKI C3300N (As far as I remember it's the N version as it's got a connection for LAN on the back) Conditions pretty good just could mostly do with a good clean over and there's some remnants from sticky foam pads that have been on it. Internally everything is present but the black K toner, turning it on and plugging it in this does seem to be the only problem. You'll have to supply your own kettle lead and USB but all the drivers, software and further information is downloadable from here: http://www.c3300.co.uk/ Colection from Chester as it's very heavy, so would cost a fortune to post I imagine.
