After mauling down and then back up the M6 all day yesterday, here's my new rig, sounds mighty, but not tried it in a band setting yet I've not shown my pedalboard as it's in a state of (constant) flux
Jeebus, I didn't need to hear the words "Great Grandpa" being applied to me this morning!! Good luck with the sale.

And mine....even before that....!! Great Little Bass..
that would make you great-great....no, I can't bring myself to say it regarding selling /trading it - I've just been playing it through my new rig ( pics to follow) and i'm having second thoughts - it sounds fabulous, even with a hangover.

Okay, I thinking of moving on my Roscoe, it's an early model, made in the 90's. No issues, very playable. Active EQ + bart soapbars. edit: price dropped again to £400 ONO, it's off to ebay in a couple of weeks, when I get back from my hols - see last post sold, thanks cam

It gets better and better. It doesn't help that I'm gassing for a bass with a maple fretboard at the moment. I'll be interested to hear some soundclips

Keep the pics (and text) coming. I was thinking about building an omni10 myself, but I had to concede I don't have the time at the moment.

BVT - now that's funny I'm sure they do it just to wind up the Behringer bashers I'm expecting a new line of removeable head combos from Behr... called 'strollabout' or 'walkaround' soon. I do find the people who bang on about Behrs lack of morality a little naive, this is business, and very few companies operate primarily on an ethical, moral basis. If Behr can hold up the legal process whilst they make their profit, blame the legal process, not someone who uses it to their advantage. I do have a couple of Behringer bits - the rack tuner and some studio monitors. If behr had not bought out their versions, I would not have bought from their competitors, I would have done without. So in this instance, Behr didn't impact on the competition's sales, they allowed me to have more stuff. Huzzah!
Hi, There are sound clips on the website of a VT2-Dual-Custom-bass and the channel 1 only clips are really just a VT1 as it's the same thing. But, I am hoping that there will also be some VT1-Std-Bass clips on the website soon. Dave
Thanks Dave, I did take a look but wasn't sure which to listen to, I remember you saying on another post that the VT1-std was half of another one of your pedals, I couldn't remember which one. I'll go back and have another go.
Very nice review Joe...It actually sounds really tempting to get one of these for my new board.
+1 from me too, very comprehensive You didn't by chance do any soundclips did you? A sound I really fancy being able to approximate is that of Adam Clayton on 'vertigo' during the breakdown when Bono is singing 'All of this will be yours....' I know it's dependant on more amp choice, bass choice, etc etc blah blah blah, but I was wondering if this might get me part of the way?

ok, I think it may be time to move on my Pignose, it's a fantastic little all valve combo, with two 12AX7's in the preamp and four new ehx 6L6's in the power stage. It has a 15'' full range speaker and sounds amazing. I'm selling it because I've just bought a Warwick ProFet3.2, and need to get a (couple of) cabs for it - specifically Hartke ones I'll get some better pics of it up soon although my sig has a pic of the power tubes (they're visible thought the front grille when it's switched on, how cool is that?) - it's based in North Manchester, and is available for test runs if anyone is interested. I may be open to trades or px's, but the wife would not be pleased if I swapped it for another bass and then shelled out for a 4x10 or a 1x15 It's cost me £340 in total so that's what I'd like to get for it cheers steve
