1. here's my latest, a couple of switches on my MS-60B are borked, so I decided to spend today making a breakout box for the main stomp and the four crappy plastic ones orbitting it. When time permits I'm thinking about experimenting with a PIC microcontroller to allow one stomp switching of each of the effects in a bank without having to scroll across to them. 2. I listened to a couple of tracks on your website - very impressed. Great playing by all involved, and your singer has a wicked voice.
3. Hi, We're looking for a replacement blues guitarist for our 40s style chicago blues band (vox&harp, guitar, upright bass, drums). We're playing a mixture of blues, jump, a few elvis tunes - Jonny Be Goode and other crowd pleasers are in the set. We did around 40 gigs last year and are looking to increase this when we return to a stable line up. We have a demo CD to take to booking agents. We're not looking for someone with an ego to massage, while there's plenty of soloing opportunities it isnt a set of four twenty minute blues songs with 15 minute guitar solos in each one. We generally rehearse in Denton on wednesday evenings, but the evening can be moved if that's an issue. For more info, pls send me a pm. thanks for looking edited as we're looking for a drummer as well because the replacement we were talking to unfortunately has too many work commitments
4. I've been jonesing for an acoustic for a bit, and these have apparantly just been released. Has anyone had any experience of one yet or is it too early? http://www.warwickbass.com/en/Framus---Products--Guitars-and-Amps--Acoustic-Guitars--Framus-Legacy--Grand-Auditorium-Model--Solid-Mahogany-Top-CE--Natural-Satin--Pictures.html One of the attractions for me is the 48mm nut spacing
5. traded my precision for some gerar and cash with Mike. he's a great chap to deal with, and comms were good. Cheers mate
6. It's same fretspacing as my aerodyne jazz neck (which I assume equates to 34'') I'd have to measure the width of the board exactly when I can get to it, but a rough guess would be around 60mm
7. LA Audio D2 DI box, uses 2 9V PP3 batteries, umm, not much more to add really £40 + shipping (guessed at around £6) Now Sold
8. bought off ebay for some hairbrained scheme or other, and has been sat in my loft for aaaaages, I think it was advertised as ebony, and looks quite dark, but I wouldn't know how to verify it £25 + shipping
9. comes complete with instructions and tatty box. I don't know much about it as I bought it to use with a soundblox 2 pedal which I sold before getting stuck into this. It's been sat idle ever since and now I'm having a clear out. price is £35 + shipping (which I'd guess would be around £8 ish), but would refund any excess
10. as advised, I've taken some internal pics neck heel neck pocket pickups back of pickguard also, big price drop to £875. If no-ones interested at this price it looks like I'm going to have to part it out, which is a crying shame ....
11.
This would almost fit the bill, but only does 9/12/18v: http://www.cioks.com...id=75&Itemid=90
interesting, according to the radial website, the Pz-Pre will run off an 18V supply, albeit with a slightly shortened product life.
12. gaaaah, just bought one of these of ebay in a less than ideal transaction, if this had been a couple of days earlier I'd have snatched you hand off
13.
You want the Pedaltrain Volto. As elegant as it gets. http://www.andertons...ower-supply.asp
I completely agree, and one day I will get one, but I bought a Pedal Juice a couple of months before the volto came out, so I need to prioritize getting a 15V centre positive from a 9V centre negative supply
14. I have a pedaltrain nano which has just a polytune mini (9v centre neg) and a radial tonebone pz-pre (15V centre positive) and I'm looking for an elegant power solution. At the moment I'm using the radial PSU for the radial and a sanyo eneloop battery for the polytune. I'm considering the gigrig El Paso with either the eneloop (preferred) or a diago 9V supply (and then use the eneloop with my 'rock pedalboard' ) but I was wondering if anyone could suggest an alternatives or share advice or experiences before I pony up £60. TIA
15. If it doesn't sell I'll have it pls
16.
It looks nice enough. What's with the black spots on the pickguard? Finish removed from around the thumb rest and ashtray screw holes? Does it come with the ashtrays?
yeh, as you say, the black spots are dings to the finish on the pickguard. Nope, don't have ashtray or pup covers
