This looks interesting http://discchord.com...r-released.html I use Auria for that but I worry that Auria is pretty processor intensive and there are a hell of a lot of controls on it. The midi implementation looks cool too, I'll let you know if I get it and how I get on
That looks like really useful app, I'll be having a try of it soon myself
Also Steve if you press the lock and home button at the same time it'll screen shot your ipad's screen
thanks for the Ste

obviously this isn't a band situation, but I looks like it will work audiobus setup - using auria on the right so I can verify the mastering channel is being processed by Final Touch Final Touch mastering app in audiobus mode Auria showing two different tracks (recorded simultaneously) It's worth noting that the mastered track is at a much lower output level, adding another app to boost that instead of Auria may satisfactorily compensate (as might boosting the output from within Auria) I'm using a 32GB ipad Air and line6 sonicport. I had to change the latency settings but once done, couldn't here any latency introduced hope that helps

interesting, I've not upgraded to iOS8 yet, I'm waiting a bit longer until things settle down, and I had heard audiobus was having issues with iOS8 initially. I'll try and do a definitive test today and report back, watch this space ......
I have emailed them about using the mastering doobrie in real time.
just had a quick look, and it appears you can add it to the middle slot in audiobus, whereby the app switches to 'audiobus mode', and it then appears to work in real time
Anyone using the iPad to do front end DSP for their rigs? Parametric EQ + Multiband compression + Limiting etc etc etc
certainly considering something like this. I've used audiobus with jamup/bias into the PA at rock band rehearsals which sounded promising (not gigged it yet tho') and at some point I want to try a similar setup with the upright, where it would be nice to have a couple of parametric modules 'on standby' to control potential feedback amongst other things. Positive Grid do a nice mastering app which might be worth an experiment with to polish a live sound too
TBH I'm really not sure, that's above what I'm trying to achieve
Fair enough, I'm probably going to go ahead with Auria now so I'll be able to test it myself eventually.
Nothing that I know of but, you can amp the same midi control to do multiple things in loopy so 1 button press could do everything you're asking. Remember you can add foot switches and get 8 commands going through a single blueboard I'm also not sure you can run 2 blueboard a at a time if you can let me know I'd love one doing programme changes and 1 doing command changes
Ste, a couple of questions about Auria if you don't mind? Does Auria provide track automation the same way as say Cubase, Reason and other Windows based DAWs? Could midi tracks in Auria be used to control Loopy by sending PC or CC messages?

I have the following pedals for sale [s]Source Audio Hub £90+shipping - hook this up to a midi controller (or iOS app if your so inclined) and you can control soundblox2 pedals to an astonishing depth, basically you create scenes which contain settings for all your soundblox pedals. Loads of info on these on Talkbass. AFAIK you have to import these from the states (as I did).[/s] SOLD [s]Source Audio Orbital £120+shipping - great modulator pedal [/s]SOLD [s]Source Audio Bass OFD £120+shipping - distortion/drive/fuzz modeller. Best I've tried[/s] SOLD Zoom MS-60B £70+shipping WITHDRAWN MXR M87 bass compressor £130+shipping WITHDRAWN [s]Ditto Looper £65+shipping[/s] SOLD All are in great working condition, with velcro on the bottom, and I think I have all the boxes and manuals etc. I'm not in a desparate rush to sell, so I'll not be interested in low ball offers, (and I think they're priced quite fairly anyway) but i could look at maybe knocking a bit off for someone wanting more than one item Here's a quick pic without the orbital for now, i'll get a recent one of the board with it on soon. ta for looking

I didn't know about the multiple commands, that and an extra footpedal might give me enough control. Any recomendations for a footswitch?
So you want to send loopy more than 1 control at a time?
possibly yeh, so I can mute some loops and unloop others simultaneously for different song sections. I've just picked up a second hand blueboard off here, and I have a bluetooth keyboard which I might hack into another footcontroller, so I might not need a specific app. Having said that, it would be nice to have an app running which automated song structure (and possibly drums too) and did all the switching between presets
I've just sold my Finn sc and I'm missing it already even though I've kept it in the case for the past couple of months to try and wean myself off it. Bah. Any acg owners played a 35" low b and a 33" low b? Much difference? Is one "better" or "worse" ? I'm becoming drawn to the recurve 6 currently for sale, at the same time firmly reminding myself I don't really get in with 6ers....... Maybe It's because I haven't tried an ACG 6 yet Any sound samples around of the different pickups / pre amps now available anywhere?
I have a 6string 35'' scale recurve you can have a try of if you like, I'm in north manchester so might not be too far from you, it doesn't have a low B tho', it's strung EADGCF

his other items for sale is a bit of a hoot too, anyone fancy a thomann newsletter for 99p? they're from 2008 no less and therefore nearly vintage

Inspired by the Loopy app (instead of getting an RC-300 or boomerang) I've pulled the trigger on a Sonic Port and the requisite apps, however, I need an app that can step through a sequence of midi cc messages (to send to Loopy using CoreMidi or via the freEwi app) triggered by a blueboard. Does anyone have any suggestions of such an app? Ideally one that has a free version to try out before I make a financial commitment
