1. two of, 200w (RMS i think, but will confirm later), with boxes so shipping is an option. I'll get some pics up asap, they're in good nick, with very little use. I bought them to try amplifying my DB, but ended up just using my Ampeg, so these are now surplus. looking for £70 + shipping for each monitor, or £130 + shipping for both. Stands will be £15 each
As far as I can tell that just sets the maximum effect level. e.g. Don't open/close a filter fully, but stop at say 75%. So you have 5mm before hitting the 75% limit. Not read the maximum exp. input value as maximum effect level. If you get what I mean...
ye, I see what you mean, that's a shame, Is there no adjustment you can make on the pedal?
I got a Moog EP-2 expression pedal today. Unless you can rescale things you get about 5mm of travel before hitting the max...
have a look in the total settings (the one for each individual patch), you can rescale the XP pedal travel there
 4. so here's what i have now body, guard, pickups, knobs and one of the pots are late 70's, neck & tuners are late 90's CIJ tried it with the band t'other night and sounded great, very deep but somehow more distinct than my highway. It's a bit on the heavy side, and the action is still a tad higher than I'd like, but all in all, so far so good. If anyone is flogging any late 70's parts I'm missing, give me a shout
 5.
I had a 79 black/black/maple P bass I wish I still had, but apart from that there arent really any other I totally regret selling. I did regret selling my DJ4 until I got my current bass, a Sandberg JM4 now I dont regret it all. The sandberg is my perfect bass!!
I was just reading this thread thinking I wish I hadn't sold my S9 P bass, which is this one!, I got it from Mike (traded for my bongo). I think I swapped it for an old Stingray, which I also regret getting rid off. Also I had a DeArmand Starfire that I fitted with DarkStars..... I've been such a fool
 6. Great stuff, I'm embarking on the same process with a late 70's P bass,
 7. Bought a CIJ precision neck from Zig, he's a very helpful and friendly chap, and I'd definately deal with him again in the future. Thanks very much m8
 8. really nice looking bass m8, and I know how great it will sound and play
 9.
I can vouch these sound great in Antigua basses.
10. Bump for correction regarding the PSU cable in first thread
Briefly, it's quicker then using the actual unit to edit sounds and you can export the patch to a file so easy to share settings, maybe we could have a thread on Basschat dedicated to patch sharing? I have no Muse patches though - sorry.
That's a good idea
What kind of effect did you use to play the synth intro of Dakota?
When I get 5 mins I'll put it up here
 12. Thanks Martin, I may well consider other trades, If anyone has an ampeg PF115 hanging around i'd be very interested, or WHY
 13. so here's what I have so far..... body, pg and pups are all late 70's. I'm going to have a forage in all the boxes in my loft, I'm sure I'll be able to find some bits, and also have a look at what I can scavenge off my other project basses. Watch this space......
OK, a gig review which was positive. Looking forward to more gig reviews, guys. Anyone done any serious, proper recording with it yet? And I don't mean toying with it through headphones. I await your thoughts with bated trousers. Ta!
I gave this a positive gig review earlier in the thread. The unit really is very good. Not sure about the earlier criticisms re the tuning either, worked great for me
 15. bump for precision neck trade option (see post 1)
 16. Bought Gareths Antigua P body and guard. Great bloke to deal with, kept me up to speed at every stage of the transaction, a pleasure doing business with you mate, thanks very much
 17. After holding back for aaaaaages, I finally succumbed once I'd sold my old rig, and bought Gareths Antigua Body and Pickguard. I then scored a '77 pick up on ebay and so I'm after Fender bits from the late 70's to complete the project. MY initial plan is to get the bass giggable, but none of the necks from my bitsa P's (or J's for that matter) fit the neck pocket, so I'm on the lookout for a neck that will fit the 70's fender P neck pocket.... here ends any experience I have so any advice on what options I have for suitable necks would be appreciated. I'll get some pics up of the body and guard soon, but I'm sure anyone who's interested will have seen them in Gareths sales threads
 18. Hi Paul, I could well be interested in a set
This looks very interesting. I already have a B2.1u but I am liking the look of the B3. What I can't seem to find anywhere is what the casing is made of, any ideas? The B2.1u is a pretty sturdy lump of metal(well so far my feet haven't broke it). And I am still not sure of straight into the amp or in the effects loop.
seems to be metal, I have no concerns about it being able to withstand the rigours of gigging (except for the lack of drainage channels )
Just found out you can daisy chain 2 of these together via usb. Could be a good upgrade path....
interesting, I assume that means u could also attach a G3 and control the guitarists effects too , (or biamp)
