2.
Yeah man for sure, I don't think you'll be able to keep away when you see what I've bought
now I'm curious, I assume you'll be keeping us in suspense?
3. links to pics on Flickr
4. for Josh, and any others, here's a link to a few pics on flickr
5.
You should hear it, other than the hiss that is inherent with most things made in 1957 it sounds beautiful
we'll have to sort something out when I'm finished with my rig updating frenzy, I'd like to have a look at your Matamp gear too
6. that Dynacord MV15 looks well cool Ste
7. to get back to the OP's question, I used to have two of the same Hartke cabs, and stacked vertically. I don't know about dispersion in the crowd, but it was much easier to hear myself. And I can vouch for Bills designs, I have two now superceded Omni 10.5s which always impressed me, and are now being brought back into active service
8. Hiya Dood, that's a great help thanks, I'll edit my title thread
9. looks like this one, but I must stress this isn't mine, and mine is completely playable. It's in good nick and it's not a bad little bass tbh, I would try to get more for it if I was putting it on ebay I could prolly sort something out for postage, I'm pretty sure I have something I can box it up in
10. Hi Josh, the bass is down at my practice room - I'll get down there as soon as I can (possibly tomorrow) and get some pics taken cheers
11. Bought this from Gaf aaaaaaaages ago for £80, looking to move it on for the same price, would prefer collection, pics up soon
12. I've decided I'd benefit more from having one Jazz and one precision instead of two jazzes, [s]so I'm offering this one for a straight trade only against a MIM P[/s] now for sale for offers around £225 It has some dings, as you can see in the pics, but it plays nicely and sounds great to my ears. if cash was available, i'd just buy a P and keep it pics on flickr here it's pictured here with a brown tort plate, but I have the original white one too if you prefer
13. I've decided to go down the tube route, so this will have to go sadly, as I can't afford to keep it and buy a full tube rig previous sale threads are here James' sale thread Doods sale thread don't really want to split at this stage, but would do a trade for a nice tube preamp + cash my way, or possibly a really nice precision, but I have no cash to put into a deal at the moment. Cold hard cash would be preferred tho' I'm happy for the buyer to collect from my practice room, where they can try it out, or to do a halfway meet cheers
14. Thanks for that Gary I'll need to see where I'm up to cash wise and hopefully get back to you
15.
Put this with this and you could have an amazing amp.
that's what I'm thinking
16. Hi Gary, how does this unit fare when used in conjunction with your MesaBoogie 400+? I now have a Strategy400 and am considering preamp options
