Pimp my amp

Ta for all suggestions serious or not so far, I'm thinking of going with this in sticky back plastic, mainly because ov how it's spelt on the ebay listing http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BAROCK-PATTERN-SELF-ADHESIVE-VINYL
If you skin the cats, would it cover enough?
I'm quite confident that the wife would be quite unimpressed if explored that avenue
3.
IBTL
Gaaaaah, beat me to it, but can I just add How much?
4. I have a Fender Rumble 15 practice amp which my (wifes) cats have used as a scratchpost once too often, and where the carpet has once just sported a wooly afro, the holes are about to join into an absolute (to quote Superfurryanimals), so I need to re-cover it. Has anyone got any off-the-wall suggestions that would be neither too expensive or time-consuming for me to use as covering before I just splash on some red tolex? Must be cat proof! tia

sent you a pm Rob
6. didn't think I'd see this up for sale, but now I see you have a Bongo I can understand why. The aerodynes are fantastic, but not much beats a Bong IMHO, I'd have another in a heartbeat if I got the chance/cash. Good luck with the sale mate
7.
There you go Steve, that's exactly what I'm talking about, that's what I want.
The answer lies to the north Russ </gandalf>
8. I had the same thought process a while ago, I'd accumulated a few basses but only ever played one favourite at any one time, so I decided to ditch all but one and get an ACG. Definately the best bass related decision I've made. I've tried P's and J's, a 'ray and a bongo amongst others and nothing comes anywhere near for me. I've had the ACG for around 5 months, and it still makes me smile when I start playing it.
9. I pretty much agree with Finbar, there are compromises to be made, but they are great units. The long press to activate tuner mode is a goos idea, have you been to the line 6 website and added it as a feature request for a future update? I switched to an M13 recently (primarily because I wanted the fx loops for parallel processing) but I think the M13 interface is more user friendly. On the flip side, I now have a pedal board I could park my car on.
10.
Just got it today, only played around for a couple of hours but read all advanced instructions, etc. My problem is with the so-called Model Default settings. Here's the situation: I have 5 fx units assigned. I'm testing wahs for the 6th. I pick one model and adjust it to my liking (Mix at 50%). Now I move to the next wah and adjust it the same way (Mix at 50%). Now I want to go back to the previous wah to hear how it sounded again and compare... settings went back to default (Mix at 100%)!!!! Am I the only one thinking this is absurd? Wouldn't it be great if you could set up a load of fx to the best of your liking and every time you recalled it it would come with YOUR settings and not the default rubbish settings? The only way I can see to somehow work around this is to use Manual scene saving or some other process which will involve changing scenes, or having a whole scene just for testing where I'd have 6 wahs and compare one by one, for example... I hope they fix this in a future update because it's a major drawback for me...
Can you not just have another scene set up specifically to try out wahs, then make a note of the settings and add that to the sixth effect in the originsl scene?
11. Peter bought my blowtorch, great comms, and he did everything he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it. I would be happy to deal with him again. Thanks for an easy transaction.
12. I would have been all over that pedalboard like a rash earlier this week, but I've bought one of a very similar size but in worse condition for a bit more money
