1. I've no cash to put in tbh mate as I've got a bit of the balance on my ACG outstanding and one of my kids birthdays so I'll def need to hang on to it for the time being. I should be able to get a pic of the board up over the weekend. It's basically a flight case with a wooden board so you can attach pedals using the johnny shreadfreak chainlinks and/or velcro. Leave that with me. I'm still pondering the size/functionality issue!
  2. I had one of these, but it was never going to work in an indie/rock covers band. They are a great piece of kit, and work really well in combination with fuzzes/filters/synth pedals. There's some really interested slice patterns in it, and you can make funky loops that could replace a keys player and then play the bass over the top: cool
  3. I could be tempted to do something with this kind of trade Ste - I think I'd be offering my M9 with woodstock hard case (paid around £55 a couple of weeks ago) for your M13 with gator bag. I do need to reconcile myself with whether the extra functionality merits the extra floor real estate as well tho'
  4.
In the middle, Darkstared Starfire I've had 3 starfires this is by far the best one I've owned or played.
what's the one on the right Ste?
  5. Rich bought my Korg Pitchblack, not the first time we've dealt and I'm sure it won't be the last. He's great bloke to deal with cheers mate
  6. As far as trades go, I could be interested in a px for a step sequencer eg yamaha rm1x + cash
  7.
any news on the bass????
+1 I'd love to see some finished pics
  8.
MB1. ....SOLD...LOCALLY!..."Whats all this Shouting?...We'll have No Trouble Here!".
hahaha that was too good an opportunity to pass eh Martin?
  9.
the guitar pickup would be handy for my set up if noone takes it...any pics?
you have first dibs on the guitar pickup - I'll get a comprehensive set of pics up first chance I get
  10. In my continuing cull of things I'm not using, I've decided to let this go. I'm looking for a firm £280 + shipping (which is what I paid for it) - they do go for considerably more on ebay. If it doesn't go on here soon I'll probably take the ebay route. Here's a pic I have both the bass and the guitar pickups, and am offering ONE for sale with the unit, the other I will sell off after. So, to clarify, I'm selling the GR-20, 13pin cable and EITHER a GK-3 guitar pickup or a GK-3B bass pickup with mounting hardware for £280. Bargain. It's all everything you need to delve deeply into the world of midi bass (or/and guitar) The other pickup I will sell for a firm £55+shipping. I'm happy to provide more pics if needed. ******************sold***********************
  11.
I am not a moderator but why don't we all give musicman1 a break. If we are interested and we think the price is right we buy it otherwise we don't.
+1, I was incredulous when I read some of the comments on this thread. I'd also like to know where you got the enclosure from, I built something similar (but contolled by a PIC for switching combinations of loops) and had to use an aluminium U section to house it in.
  12. Fancy some kind of trade for my Aerodyne Jazz in this thread?
  13.
Tech Soundsystems homepage http://www.tech-soundsystems.com/eng/home/index.html reviews are particularly hard to find. It's a great head. It's backup for my main head, the more powerful version, and so never gets used. It has a huge sound. Loads of bottom end and loads of character. I took it in for a major overhaul and the guy repairing it couldn't believe it was completely solid state.
Cheers for the info, but i think I'll have to pass. I quite like the look of it but it won't fit into my current setup/needs.
  14.
Too pretty for words.. Fancy a Squier CV 60's plus cash?
I saw your for sale thread - it's a lovely looking bass but i don't really do precisions. If it had been a jazz I may have been tempted. Ta for the offer tho
  15.
Shame it wasnt your thing Steve! Im still loving the fretless Good luck with the sale, shes a beaut!
Hi Shaun, I'm glad the fretless is working out for you. When we did the trade I wasn't sure that I'd get on with this one, but it's such a great looking bass that I had to give it a try. Cheers
  16.
Tony (Teaser360) was after one of these. Give him a shout
Thanks for the heads up, I've sent him a pm
  17.
Would you be interested in a trade for a Tech Soundsystems TVM350 head. 350W @ 4 Ohms, 420W @ 2 Ohms, passive EQ, compressor? Fitted in a 3U stagg bag.
Hmm, interesting - I'm not sure if the power ratings are particularly compatable with my cabs tho'. I couldn't find much info about these on the web, d'yu know of any links to reviews etc I could take a look at?
  18.
I've not had time to take pics yet, but you can see a stock pic in my thread here. Mine is in sky blue, very pretty and near perfect with an easy action and great sound. I'm also unsure about the bass - I need a fairly lightweight alternative to my old jazz bass, with a deep smooth tone for reggae.
Well I can definately weigh for you, as for deep smooth tone for reggae - I really don't know, youve got a p pup and a jazz pup so there's quite a range of sounds - it'd probably get you close if you stuck some flats on it i would imagine
  19.
Are you interested in trading for an Ibanez artcore semi acouustic guitar plus cash?
hmmm, I don't really do guitars, but have you got a couple of pics? - depending on cash adjustment, it may be of interest to my daughter
  20. Pics from the previous owner, hope you don't mind me using them Shaun this one highlights the dings
