2. decided to bump this as I fancy having another go at fretless. Ideally I'm looking for a fretless jazz (olly white/tort/rosewood would be astoundingly good) but I'll consider trades for anything really as long as it's fretless. I can do a cash adjustment each way cheers
3. I had one of these and it's a lot of bass for £100
4. I bought basses from them on two occasions, a few days could pass before you gat a reply IIRC, but it was always a good experience. They seem to change their stock listings in a strange way, so if you are working from a bookmark it might now point to a different item.
5. how do you not get songs/sets/lines mixed up? I'm only in one band, and i'm always messing up
6. The slicer is great, i'd didn't really get to use it a great deal but I've been after an rc-50 for ages so it had to go... good luck for wed, what kind of audition?
7. Hi Glenn Yeah, that's it. I managed to have a go yesterday and it's great piece of kit. I've only started to scratch the surface tho'. How are you finding the slicer and the zoom?
8. have a look at some bach, there is a thread on here somewhere with a url to a website where you can download many scores free

10. I've got one of these which I won't need now I have a PT mini, so it has to go to fund other things. It's in great nick, I can get some pics done if needed
11.
Steve, If this item is still for sale I am interested. Is it the AP1B bass guitar version rather than the AP1 for 6 string electric guitars? Thnaks, Pete
Hi Pete it did sell (prolly 12 months ago), i do have a sennheiser freeport which I may be selling if you're interested

13. do the prices include shipping?
14. Yeah, I thought Bongo when I saw it. Fantastic job, especially the finishing
15. +1 for the bad monkey, also if your any good with a soldering iron, take a look at the bazz fuss thread in this sub forum, half way down page one is a vero baord layout for a blender. Build that and you increase your options
A clean blender, I tried a friend's RAT and really liked the sound except for the low end loss, I was originally gonna add a clean blend to one, but then it kind of evolved into it's own project, al etched me a pcb, schem and stuff here: http://gaussmarkov.net/wordpress/circuits/b-blender/
I think it's a good idea to do it as a separate project, if you get the building bug, you can use it for them too. There's a great link to a free spice simulation app on there too
17. wow, nice job, that looks excellent
18.
Looks great. The wait will be worth it.
I'm sure it will. The hardest parts of the wait are not bombarding Alan with emails all the time, and not spending the cash on other stuff while the build is still in progress
They really are superb instruments, I'm very jealous. Not sure whose it was now I got the chance to play at the Harrogate bash but it was so marvellous to play. Looking forward to seeing another masterpiece developing.
I was at the Harrogate bash too, I tried out four I think - two Harlots (one was Peters), a Recurve and a Skelf (both Alpha Daves). They were all fantastic basses. I'd already been in conversation with Alan and had a spec sorted out beforehand, after playing them I was convinced it was the right decision to have one built.
Well I haven't started building it, it may prove too complex for me (I can always get my electrician father to salvage it), just ordered all the stuff, that bitbox site is really good, had all the stuff I needed (except a chicklet capacitor, but they seem to be extinct) and a full £7 cheaper than farnell, I'll put up a finished thread if i ever actually finish it
wotcha building?
20. here's a pic of the back
