3. still here, I don't use it now, any interest?
4. riff raff by ac/dc - piece of p*ss to learn, but great fun to play with the band
5. i'm looking into buying a stand for my rig, ideally in some form which combines wheels to move it. It'll need to be one that raises the whole stack horizontally without tilting it since I have two 1x10 cabs and a 3U rackbag. anyone have any ideas?
6. I bought Ken's Status Graphite Stingray neck, he is a great bloke to deal with and he got the neck to me very quickly. I can happily recommend him to anyone on the forum. Thanks again mate
7. If i could sell my fretless, I'd be quite tempted by this....
8. he obviuosly not done his homework - plenty of buyers on ebay don't seem to do theirs either, so he might get away with it
9.
My apologies if this subject has been covered before. I am looking to get myself a portable trainer device (Christmas is coming). I've looked at a few on paper, but not actually tried any. To be honest, based on the specs the Tascam looks to be the best option for me, but I was hoping to some solicit opinions from anyone here who's actually used any of them. The ones I've looked at are the Korg Pandora, the Tascam MP-BT1 bass trainer, and the Boss MicroBR. The impression I get is that the Boss thing seems to be more targeted at recording and effects rather than training, and the Korg has lots of effects and amp/speaker emulations, but a very limited memory and only a short loop facility. The Tascam seems to have a fair memory capacity, but doesn't allow you to record anything, the only way to load anything being via USB. Also the tascam doesn't have any auxiliary input, so if what you want isn't loaded then your stuck unless you've got it on your PC. Neither does it have any sort of rythm generator/drum machine (which some of the others have), so you'd have to load any drum tracks as a song via the USB. As I say, at the moment I'm favouring the Tascam, but am interested in opinions on the above three or anyother such device. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. PS I already have a simple headphone amp set up, but am looking to move up from that.
I had a pandora version 3 (can't remeber the model code - it was the red one) which was good, but I know have the tascam which has no drum machine (but it has a metronome) but obviously stores mp3's. it is a great piece of kit, and is useful for working out covers as well as general practice. I'd recommend it
10. the bass (or christina wossname for that matter) does absolutely nothing for me
11.
If Ritter has started ripping off Stagg designs they're gonna get whacked with a law suit!
I always thought Ritter designs were a bit dull - copying stagg might help him shift some units
12. bump for the levelar - nice tubey comp, good as a preamp for recording too
13. I've had a couple of pm's asking if the jazz still has the kent armstrong pups and the gotoh bridge mentioned in Nicks post, I can confirm it has

16.
Grr, I want this..... Counting pennies in piggy bank right now. edit - excuse my ignorance or is this active or passive?
its passive mate
17.
Link doesn't work for me mate.
fixed it now mate, thanks for pointing that out
18. I've decided to move on my fender Jazz, as seen in this link as I don't really play it since I got my stingray, and I have my eye on other things. I'm looking for £400 - the same as I payed for it, and credit crunch be damned! I am happy to ship, but I'd need an extra £20 to cover the cost of the hard case + shipping costs Hopefully Nick won't mind me linking to his sale thread, but I'd not be able to do one to anything like that standard
19. Neil bought my bass flightcase. Thoroughly nice chap, easy to make arrangements with and everything went smoothly. thanks again mate
