I have the Boss WL50 for home use and it's great. However I use the Shure GLXD for all gigs and it's worth the money and more. Its just that good IMO

Up for sale a beautiful 1971 Fender Precision, with added J, in a super worn Olympic White, or Olympic Custard as it is now. The bass was stripped in 1972 and then in 1973, so the story goes, Bassdoc installed the Dimarzio Jazz pick up and the bass was refinished in the original colour. So, it's a refinish but 50 years old now so it's aged beautifully. New RS pots were added ( I am pretty sure I have the original 71's too, I will check ) and the jack repositioned. The bass has - Original tuners Original Bridge Original Precision pick ups Dimarzio Jazz added 1973 Pots are replacement RS pots, again in ‘73 5ply scratchplate. 40mm Nut Weight 3.9kg Old hard case included. Truss rod works perfectly and the bass has mainly housed flats so the frets are pretty good too. It was the main bass of a local studio/theatre guy and I purchased it from the shop which sold it on his behalf. Any trial welcome and courier is my preferred option which is £65 and normally a week wait. I am happy to meet somewhere to hand over too, but coffee and cake always available here should anyone want to come to Northumberland to check it out. I will get more pics of the 'engine room' over the weekend too. I withdrew this a while ago but it doesn't get the love it deserves so thought I would give it another whirl. I am not looking for trades but you're welcome to try.

Sold elsewhere I bought this from @Beedster and it is a beautiful thing but sadly it’s not getting enough love here, short scale doesn’t fit my hands or ability😂. Build and relic work by @d_g and it’s truly sublime ( he has since refinished my Lakland bass). It started life as a Squier Classic Vibe Mustang. Since then it's had the following modifications: - Nordsrand NM4 Pickup - Hipshot Lollipop tuners - Neck and body fully stripped - Luminlay side dots installed - Body refinished in seafoam green over two colour sunburst - all in nitro and done a few months ago so it will continue to wear as it's played - Heavy relic finish with lots of checking - Neck refinished in tinted nitro with matching seafoam headstock - Back of neck nitro worn back down, tinted and left with a super smooth satin finish - Gold Fender decal applied - Fender Rosewood Thumb rest added - All hardware reliced - New parchment pickguard with subtle relic - Squier neckplate replaced with plain relic one original thread here with more info and pics Happy to ship in a Hardcase within the U.K. with DPD etc for £20 or my man with a van at £65. No trades thanks

But has put a super clear picture on and it’s easy to see and identify it’s a battery box hole that’s been repaired, People who will be able to afford this bass will do their due diligence and his pics are more than clear enough imo. Anyway I know he’s on here too and I’m sure he will be along to add to this. Looks like a canny bass for the money imo but it’s a jazz so I’m out
