Fender Precision Bass 1972 with Jazz neck.
An absolute killer P bass with a lovely ‘72 J neck in beautiful condition. Has a wonderful full fat P sound, plays wonderfully too.
Pick ups date to early 60’s and pots are dated 1966.
The neck is in lovely condition too, no issues and truss rod turns both ways as it should. The frets could have been replaced, pretty tough to tell. The tuners have been replaced with GOTOH FB30
Comes with a Fender tweed case.
Weight 3.7kgPrice includes U.K. postage.

Now £650
Fender Precision Bass neck 1975Originally a fretless that someone has fretted with Hosco frets, it’s a pretty nice job and it’s been levelled and plays well. Dots in wrong position on side and whoever fretted it only inlaid a single for a 12th fret. Beautiful board and has Schaller tuners installed ready. Truss Rod works perfectly.
No longer needed so up for sale. Price includes U.K. postage.

Hi, is this still available? I have a bitsa inbound in a few days with a roadworn Jazz neck, so this would be tempting.
Thanks, Ed
Sure is mate

I spy the Sumo 1200 watt power amp on top of the cab. How are you finding it?
I'm tempted to get the Baby Sumo to pair with my GED 2112 pre amp.
It’s excellent and plenty loud enough. I only use it at home with the Bassrig in front of it. Through either of my Barefaced cabs it’s damn good and lightweight rig heaven. However it’s up for sale as I’m stupid and don’t mind lugging the SVT around 😂

Up for sale an immaculate Squier Jazz Bass.
Serial number JV54193
Neck stamped 6/83
Neck is in mint condition.
Body has a hairline crack in the paintwork next to the control plate and a few scuff marks on the bottom but it’s a 9.5/10 for condition in my opinion, especially given the age of the bass.
All hardware original too and currently strapped with Half Rounds.
Comes with a Gear 4 Music Hardcase.
4.4kg
UK shipping included too.
No trades thanks.

What’s the general vibe with these? Between the overwound and the underwound? What effects does it have on the overall bass sound?
I think they’re a much livelier pick up, a bit like the 66 Fender P I had. They have lovely super strong mids and a real full fat sound perfect for a P bass.

The OBP-1’s boost-only design gives you the tone shaping benefits of active electronics without losing the inherent sound of the instrument. The OBP-1’s discrete, all-FET circuitry features up to 18dB of boost at 40Hz and 4kHz, creating a sonic environment high in dynamic headroom and low in noise.

GK2001 RB £700
One year old and used sparingly and in excellent condition. Comes with footswitch and cables. It’s a superb head I just prefer the Ampeg gear I have.
Price includes U.K. shipping
GK info-
The Gallien-Krueger RB series has forever been at the forefront of bass amp design. The amplifier for true professionals. Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duff McKagan of Guns’n’Roses and a huge array of genre spanning session players, as well as the jazz legend Dave Holland, all use these exceptionally crafted, US built bass amplifiers.
The 2001 is the most powerful model in the RB head line. With 2 x 540-Watt and 2x50-Watt Horn Bi-Amps it’s ideal for the stage or the studio and you can easily fit it to a rack. This head takes up three rack spaces on a studio rack unit.
