Not as stupid as that sounds as it’s something I used to do, kinda. Always finger player and could never use a pic but mimicking the holding of the plec id use my index finger/nail as the plec. Worked a treat but obviously not every song just now and again if needed. All the time would result in a bloody stump 😂

Came to me on a pedalboard but I don’t need it so up for grabs. They are great bits of kit however I’m already covered. Small tabs of Velcro on bottom, easy to peel off.

Ha ha yeah needs the right one back on for sure. Was unplayed for 7 years, took it out of the case, still in tune and fired right up. Its delish

Added this to my collection yesterday. An almost unplayed and all original bar the bridge 4001 in Burgundyglo ( original bridge also came with it ).

Yeah I’ve had same with DV24/7 with 2 cases and strings too. That was 1st Feb too and next day delivery

Great bass this, it did have Custom Shop ‘62 in when I built it. It was built at such a high spec, my spec,  as I was going to keep it but I like seeing them played and unfortunately didn’t see enough action from me and @Ander87really wanted it.

Well, I reckon so but he wasn’t keen on letting me take it to bits as he’s already took photos. I’d have liked to check the truss rod to make sure. As I say it wasn’t loads but couldn’t check it either way. Shame as I’d travelled 2 1/2 hours from home to have a look. Pots all crackled too but again could need a quick spray could need replaced. I took an amp and tools with me but only got to quickly plug it in.

Yeah it definitely needs fettling and didn't get great vibes when I was there. Gotta trust your instincts. Was listed at a much lower figure too but he 'found out it was worth more' and hiked the price. Its in good condition, not great and needs work. I offered a decent price taking into account the work needed, actually more than I thought I would (£2600) but said he wouldn't take a penny less what £2800 and it can go back in the cupboard then 🙄

Yeah, slight ski jump on neck and frets are worn. Played ok but not magnificent. Open to offers, well not quite, he will knock £100 off for cash 😆

Yup, I have been to see it. 

Picked this up today for a very modest sum of money. Didn’t go to buy it, it just kinda happened and was added to a deal. I must say, even with crappy old strings on it sure sounds nice! 

Bought Johns Stomp, even though I vowed never again 😂 Thanks for the super quick postage too! Right, best put the computer on and work this out again 😂
