Here we have an original 1973 Fender Precison body in Candy Apple Red, heavy relic beauty coupled with a stunner of a Lakland J neck bought from @Quatschmacherof this very parish. The engine room consists of a Nate Mendel P bass loom and Lindy Fralin 10% overwound pick ups. Bridge is original to the bass. The original P was parted out by a guy in the states, shame as I would’ve bought it complete but was too late. I do have pictures of the original bass to confirm this. Sounds killer and strung with La Bella LTF. Weight 4kg and comes with a Fender moulded case. Shipping in U.K. included and test drives welcome. Yeah I’ve had lots of these, never had a mega heavy one. 3.9-4.1 ish of the ones I can remember. Good basses. Think the later necks had reinforcements in as early models had a few issues. Not all of them but some.
