Great basses, the 63 is killer though, I loved that bass man. I know what you mean re gigging values though, sometimes it doesn’t make financial sense to take something so valuable

Yep this is the best way and most cost effective. The only other way is I use my courier who cover Europe and he makes sure all is well with a FaceTime call when he swaps the basses over. Sending and hoping the other party is as honest as you are is far too much of a risk. I would want lots of communication and chats/background shopping to make 100% sure but even then I think I would choose to fly it over.

If you move the 610 on, give me a holla

Im waiting patiently for the courier to deliver mine. If its as good as the CB that'll do for me with the added metering 👌

I agree and have purchased. Still love the FEA and I have a big box but…

Ashdown and second to none on Customer Service. I don't think I have ever paid for a spare part ive needed for any amp. They are just the best.

Ive tried to buy a number of basses from them over the years, every one already sold 🤣 Guess thats good for the bank balance. I have bought other things and their service is excellent though.

Handbox WB100 - Now Traded Great little amps 120w all valve goodness. This one has done 30 gigs or so and approx 18 months old. Plenty of info on here about them. I just prefer my lovely and heavier Ampeg gear so this one is up for grabs. £700 collected or I can courier man in a van for £75 or if you want to trust a generic courier firm, and I’ll pack as well as I can this end, it’ll be probably £25 next day delivery. Happy to send a video of it working etc…

Yeah I prefer Birchwood Casey Tru Oil too, it just goes on better and feels 'right' imo

Another preamp I’m not using so up she goes. Price includes U.K. postage No trades thanks The Space Heater is a simple 12AX7 preamp designed to give some yummy tube warmth with a little bit of breakup in a compact package. The gainstages are set up similarly to Particle Accelerator so there is some shared DNA with the Alembic F-2B. With the gain low you can crank the volume without it breaking up, though obviously is will push your amp HARD as it is a high output circuit. Add some gain and you can get varying levels of breakup, with a nice hairy drive when the gain is cranked
