    First Pedal Help

Good tuner pedal. Worth it’s weight
  3. Price drop to £1900 until Monday sale only. Musicman Stingray Bass 1978 Pre EB. In well worn/gigged condition and plays and sounds excellent.. All original and just has full clean and set up. Frets are low but perfectly fine, worth mentioning though. Non epoxy preamp. Black and maple, my fave version. Currently set up with flats as Leo intended and sounds killer. Comes in an old hard case. Collect Hexham or can ship. Trades poss, Fender Precision, Modulus, Lakland Bob Glaub, cash either way too.
  4. Will do £300 including UK shipping if that helps anyone?
  5. Quick update- Cash sale preferred but I am looking for a 5er. Can add cash/other trade bits too for right one Sandberg Lakland MM etc...
  6. Yeah cheers mate. I bought an MDF type jig set online for a P and J so I’m lucky not to have to craddock about with that too much. Should be easy enough as long as my router skills are ok. Yeah thanks for the tip for popping the grain. It’s a way off I suppose but trying to gather as many tips as poss as I go.
  7. Bought on this very parish and used once from new I believe. It certainly looks absolutely brand new. Bought as back up to my Stomp but truth be told I’ve never taken it out of the box. Collect Hexham or I can ship. Pics to follow
  8. Yeah I think that may be the natural one. Looking forward to getting cracking and seeing how it comes out.
  9. May leave one natural and maybe paint the other. As long as I don’t balls up the routing 😬
  10. I’m not sure if you can get build-gas? You can get gas build up 😂 Maybe you can! After drooling over many of your builds I’ve decided to give it a shot! Luckily enough I make furniture/kitchen and shepherd huts (self taught so no real training and still very much learning) so access to wood and machinery isn’t hard so guess I’m lucky there. So I have some black walnut in stock so I’m going to use that for the first 60’s P bass build. I have a allparts 60’s neck already so I’ll use that but I will have a go at making a neck and stuff too. So, I’m after any help or pointers from you guys, you’ve far more experience than I do! Fingers crossed for a probably long learning journey 😂 Couple of pics of glued up blanks, enough for two just in case😬
  11. Aye I bought it back as I bloody love it. Sadly it is doing the same here, needs gigging. Sound mahoosive !
  12. It’s 8lb mate, pretty damn light.
  13. Very very well. Gigged it a few times with it and it’s bloody good. Especially as it’s so light, sounds clear with some thump too!
  14. I’ll check when I get home tonight. It’s not an anchor mate fairly comfy if I remember.
  15. Owned this bass twice (bought it back on here not long ago) , it’s an excellent example and includes the Badass 2 bridge. Uber road worn as it’s been gigged lots and comes with brand new La Bella Flats fitted. Just set up too and plays and sounds awesome. Comes with Fender gig bag too. Realistically I only use/play my ‘69 P’s so I just don’t need it. Fender bumpf below- The Nate Mendel P Bass shares the same subtly idiosyncratic and distinctive features as the original, with special body contours, extra-slim neck and nut width, a lightly worn Candy Apple Red finish with a black pickguard, a powerful Seymour Duncan® Quarter PoundGäó split single-coil pickup, Badass bridge for rock-solid sustain and stability, and Mendel's signature on the headstock. It comes with a Fender deluxe gig bag. Tour bus and platinum records not included Collect Hexham or can ship no problem. Also gigging all around country over next few months so can take it with me too. Cash sale preferred but I am looking for a 5er. Can add cash/other trade bits too for right one.

  17. Beautiful! Trying not to buy it 😂😂
  18. I gig with it, with a compressor and its excellent. Used to use a Cali76 but sold it once I had run this a few times. Great bit of kit
  19. Well done!! I did the same a little while ago and never looked back. Sounded great in the house and even better live. Oh and got more cash back from pedal sales that the Stomp cost. No brainer
  20. That’s an absolute beauty! Enjoy it mate, I follow the build too so nice to see the finished bass 🤘
