1. Got myself a 3inch wide leather strap yesterday from http://www.bulldogproducts.co.uk/guitarstraps.htm as they're local to me. And its cut down on the neck dive, due to i suppose more grip on the shoulder. A lot of people recommend putting hipshot bridges on epi's, which also due to weight cut's down on neck dive. Have a few people getting back to me on pick up's at present. Watch this space !!!
2.
how would they do away with the switch ? do they have some kind of impedance switching themselves ?
Ive no idea, maybe they'res is a higher output pick up.
3. Darkstar appear to be the only replacement ive found, they do away with the 3 way switch.
4. The only place i could find a sound clip of a bass fitted with flat's and also normal round's was on the lakeland site. And must admit the lakeland hollowbody bass sounded a lot better.
5. Ive found the best sound so far has been with the varitone set to 500, but it could be i need to play around with my amp/sansamp setting's.
6. I think a wizard pick up would have done the job, as i found my squier jag was wooly before i fitted some. Maybe my ear's have had it . But at present my £250 squier outdoes the casady lol
7. At present, if i keep it i'd move the rear strap button. To stop the neck diving, although its been said a wide strap would cure this. And in a ideal world i'd put a wizard thumper type pick up in it, if they had one that would fit.
8.
Iloved mine but did sell it on a few years ago. I was used to Precisions but did learn to adapt I wish I'd tried this back when I had mine
So what was the main reason you moved it on ?
9. Im finding at the moment the sound to my ear's is lacking a bit, ive heard people saying they sound similar to a ricki. But as yet i cant hear it myself.
10. How do you find the sound ? it could just be something completely different to what im used to playing.
11. Now that ive finally got one, im not to sure i'll be keeping it. Im finding because of the strap position on the neck, instead of the top horn. The bass does'nt tuck in like a bass with a strap button on the top horn, so its a constant battle not getting a raw arm off the edge of the bass. Sound wise i know people have raved about the sound from these, but compaired to my squier jaguar that fitted with a wizard thumper it sound's pretty wooly. Am i expected to much ? anyone who's owned one got any advice ?
12. The two pick up's are seymour duncan designed pick up's out of a squier, as theyre an higher output. The pick up in the middle is a standard ibanez one. Just though i'd try them out as i had them lying around.
13. Daily bump
14. Sorry fella, already have a set.
15. A lot of tone option's on it, depending on which pick up is selected. Neck, bassy. Bridge kind of tinny. Middle one kind of a mixture of the two. All three really balanced fat sound. Nice deep tone to it also.
16. Daily bump

22. Couple of month's old all white 3 jazz pick up model, has a couple of seymour duncan pick up's fitted at present. Also comes with the original ones. Neck wise i'd say it was the width of a jazz, but slightly deeper. Looking for £220 with postage.
23. The deal could happen, but as ive not heard anything bump anyway.
24. Still up for grab's as far as i know
25. Well cool, but would like better if they also had block inlay's
