  1. You mean one of these:
  2. what are 'the rules', and why the assumption that someone who knows musical theory can't also 'break' them?
  3. I used Bax last year. Got a great deal on an end of line/last one guitar case for a Les Paul. No problems at all. Sad how things change.
  4. Or a baseball cap and some exotic felines...
  5. In that case I'm in!
  6. There is absolutely no point AT ALL in getting a double shouldered strap, that does not let you do this:
  7. 2 x 12 user here, but my speakers are wrapped, so the cab has a lower footprint.
  8. many years ago when I played classical guitar, I used clear nail varnish, and always had an emery board.
  9. It's a good job I think most Wal's are fugly, so I'm not affected 😝
  10. Got an outdoor gig - beer garden - next weekend, and a club gig in September. Apparently the club will be issuing tickets to monitor numbers.
  11. @Kev we're doing this one for free. The venue is one of our regular gigs, so we are happy to help them out.
  12. You say that as if it's a bad thing 😉
  13. The only reason I got rid of mine, was because I was living in a top floor flat, with no lift. Carrying it up 6 flights of stairs was not fun!
  14. Gigging is a major part of my social life. I see my mates, we have fun, I get paid, plus all my gigs tend to be within 30 minutes from home, so what's not to like?
  15. I've been trying to find a Thunderbolt 2 hub or adapter. They don't seem to exist anymore! 🙁
  16. Many years ago, I bought my new-to-me USA Fender Precision bass, for the princely sum of £150. Maybe it was the sign of the times, and my young age, but it never lost the wow factor for me, as in 'wow, I own a proper USA made Fender bass!' which of course made me love playing it, and want to play and gig it more. For me, I don't think I could ever have the 'wow factor' from a MIM.
  17. I had the 350w version. Built like a tank, never let me down, loud enough for any gig. Heavy though 🙃
  18. i have various OBBM cables, so need never replace what I already have
  19. Bu993r3d if I know! 😆
  20. Psuedo-intellectual bollox, if you ask me But I managed to find this: On a final note, a bar of 4/4, 5/5, 6/6, 7/7, 8/8, 9/9, 145456/145456 all have the same duration - one whole note, one semibreve.
  21. Not seeing any examples of non-standard. Any time signature with a bottom number of 2, 4, or 8 is pretty standard So here's an example which has a section in 5/5
  22. It arrived yesterday. I've been having a fiddle. - hate Apple - love Garageband Garageband seems to just work. I plugged in my midi keyboard and was instantly playing the instrument I selected. No worrying about sample rates, Audio Thread Priority, or ASIO, etc (none of which I have a clue about). As for Apple, I do not want an Apple account, user ID, or any 'services' they provide. I just want to use Garageband.
