Today should have been epic, as I had a gig in a pub by the finishing line of The Boat Race. The pub want to rebook us - which is awesome - but today would have been guaranteed crowds and a great atmosphere.

Bernard's line are great. Do you play them like him, finger style, but often using the finger like a pick? Could be wrong, I haven't watched any tuition bids, but that looks like what he's doing when playing.

My band have agreed to play a couple of our regular (well paid) venues for free when they reopen.

Yup. Rhythm Stick Also, Keep the Faith. Not particularly difficult just relentless. Took a while to nail it, the secret seems to be to use the open D.

All March gigs now cancelled, although we are in the fortunate position of them all being rearranged.

I've had to bail on tonight's rehearsal, after consultation with the band, as I am self isolating. Saturday's gig was looking increasingly unlikely.

Saturday's gig is still on at the moment, but we're now a bit wary of advertising it, in view of the Government recommendations. If we do, it may seem like we don't give a stinky poo about people's health if we are encouraging people to come to the club? What are the rest of you doing for gigs that are still on?

All my gigs are currently going ahead as planned, but one is at The Boat Race. I'm wondering if a ban on public events is brought in, would it apply, as it's not actually in a venue?

there are many basses that have a singular feature I like, but only my Shukers have them all on one bass. So for me it's a question of having one bass that does it all, rather than having several basses that each do a bit.
