  1. By far the most comfortable strap I have ever used/owned V solo strap neo
  2. Plenty of people in bands playing major venues have day jobs.
  3. I think not!
  4. I wonder how much things have actually changed, in that do guys from those days still have the same Spinal Tap-esque stories that we do today?
  5. Wasn't that always the case? Record companies have always being notorious for dodgy record deals and ripping bands off.
  6. According to the MU all payments will be made within 90 days. MU Pledge Music update
  7. Just the bass and vocals to What's Going On? Out of context that bass line sounds like aimless noodling IMO, but play the full song and it's sublime. How did he do it? What's Going On, bass and vocal What's Going On, full song
  8. "It doesn’t have to be in English to be good, does it?" I think the world of opera would agree.
  9. Just seen this thread. I'm in. But I do have a Shuker currently being built.
  10. A cover though, not an original.
  11. Have you heard of The Australian Pink Floyd Show? They are playing the Albert Hall during their next UK tour. Bjorn Again, play Hammersmith Odeon, and Sheppard's Bush Empire, size gigs where they tour.
  12. Angels with dirty faces. - Cab Calloway - Sham 69 - Los Lobos - The Sugarbabes
  13. So What - Anti Nowhere League So What - Pink
  14. Beast in Black It's like the last 40 years never happened. This is a good thing! 😁 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4waVZXKE0GU
  15. At halftime they bring out a mini Sunday lunch, platters of roast potatoes, sausages, onion rings, etc. All free 😀
  16. I think the most ridiculous thing, is when punters try and ask the vocalist something, halfway through a song while the vocalist is singing.
  17. I once saw a Coldplay tribute band (not intentionally) and the best reaction they got was when they came back for an encore, and did 'I believe in a thing called love' by The Darkness. True story.
  18. Yup. The Darkness, the first time Frankie left. Got a really nice personalized email from the Management, thanking me for my interest, but they'd already got someone.
  19. Gigged it on Sunday. 4pm to nearly 8pm, with a one short break. Sounded great. String tension fine (after finally changing strings). As mentioned earlier, I'm used to playing with a ramp/thumb rest, also having something to rest my arm against. So for me, not having this did make the gig a bit of a struggle towards the end. I don't think pick players would have any problems. Anyway, to clarify, the Snapdragon Folding Bass, is a capable gigging bass.
  20. Sunday afternoon gig. 4pm kick off, one short break, and we played until nearly 8pm. Great pub, gets full of punters up for music on a Sunday afternoon. First gig for my Snapdragon Folding Bass. It did the job admirably, even though I'm used to playing with a ramp.
  21. Watched it a while ago. As already posted no mention of Ken. Also not mentioned, was that just like back in the day, there was an extra drummer.
