1. So I raised it today at band practice, hoping to try some of the afore mentioned ideas, but everyone was happy with it the way it is lol.
2. Why is being a Screw a dead end job? I think you are being a bit disingenuous there.
3. When I was showing the band a song (wot I had wrote) at one point someone said 'what happens next?', to which I replied 'bass solo', and no-one said no! As we are lacking an extra guitarist we've been gigging as a 3-piece, so it works quite well, but we are getting another guitarist on board, so when we do should I give up the bass solo and let a guitarist have it? If you must hear it, the solo kicks in 1:33 although I play it slightly different live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjOIB12mzQc
4. http://www.sentricmusic.com/ As the title says Has anyone on here signed up with them?
5. The Heroin Diaries is hardback, the others are paperback. bump
6. Perfect opportunity to buy British! Shuker; Iceni; ACG; Status; plus others I can't remember off the top of my head; all quality with pretty much any type of bass covered
7. I don't think looking after my bass means I'm precious about it. But I am precious about it

9.
Ah! So user error?
possibly. But if not, they are cool people to deal with.
10.
Hmm, so that's not a great start! Sometimes getting the transmitter and receiver too close is a bad thing - RF signal overload may be occurring and actually causing the problem!
the flickering blue light, means the transmitter and receiver are not connected on the same channel. The number of flashes incate which channel each is set to. Once they are linked the flashes stop. Mine only flicker when I switch on one of them, and it stops when I switch on the other. I use mine sat right next to my computer (plugged into my Toneport), and have no overload issues.
11.
I just sent mine back. Used at home when it arrived and I was too frequently getting the blueLED flickering which indicates dropping of the link between Tx and Rx Not prepared to even try it out live. As they were less than 30cm apart I was not pleased !
Were they both set to the same channel?
12. Bass. Its where it all begins, and as my bass is so personal to me (made to measure) using others is not the same. I have a host of alternatives for what happens from the bass output, but for me its gotta start with bass.
13. So, I've rehearsed with them using guitar and bass, and gigged using guitar. I use them in the house for practice, both in to the amp, and in to the laptop - via a Line 6 GX. The only issue, as stated earlier, is that due to the position of the transmitter on my guitars and bass, I can't see the power light to know when they are getting low. But I just make sure they are charged before a gig, so no problem. They charge quite quick too, around 2 hours or so. I'm loving them
14.
It's Fender, it happens
But for nearly a grand it shouldn't.
15. i bought my Epiphone TS Les Paul from Macari's. Managed to get quite a bit knocked off, plus a more substantial gig bag thrown in too.
16. No just a holiday, we'll be taking a few days in Sao Paulo on the way to visit relatives.

Sean's Feedback

Sean bought my Charvel. Might even get to see him gig with it on the 29th! More than happy to deal with him again, maybe next time he'll have time for a cuppa.
18. And now sold. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/292754-charvel-2b/#entry3144754
