https://www.jellynot...uments=bass&p=1 A few to have a look at on jellynote, can't vouch for the accuracy. Dario
Which is the bass one? They all seem to go to guitar parts?

4. tbf some guitar amps do need to cranked up to hit the sweet spot. But if that's the case maybe a power brake could be used at rehearsals?
5. no Kanye West possibly not a cock, but suffering from mental illness posts? Or is it possble to suffer from temporary psychosis and still be a cock? http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/38166362/kanye-west-is-released-from-hospital-after-being-admitted-for-exhaustion
6. Are there any decent learning resources for Battery, by Metallica? I've been unsuccessful in trying to find the bass score.
7.
Good choice and thank you for the update on whether it was ready or not Eude
Jon said before Christmas, so I'm holding him to that!
8. I've gone for pic 6 (or second from bottom) as it is in a similar place to the pots on Shuker 1. And Eude, Not yet (x11)
9. Goody goody yum yum!
10. Jon has sent a selection of pics of the volume pot, a couple of variations in placement and then a few different knobs… he quite likes the one with the white line.
11.
I have a P Bass Jr which is a similar scale length to the Snapdragon. It certainly has an inherent floppyness to the string tension, particularly if you are used to a standard 34" scale instrument. I guess that's the payoff for such a portable bass.
I'm actually used to 32inch medium scale :-)
12. It didn't make it to rehearsal, but I've tweaked away and sorted the alignment and neck. Not sure about the strings. A couple of them don't even have one complete wind around the tuning peg. I've not owned a short scale bass before, so I'm not sure if the string floppiness is normal?
13. A few details. The string alignment is not too good when the neck is extended, but this can be adjusted. Also the neck needs a bit of relief. Will give it a bit of a set up during the week.
14.
I'm seriously considering one of these, can you post any audio as the only demo I can find the player is playing over the neck. Would love to hear what it actually sounds like.
Unable to post audio, but I'm in that London too, so you're welcome to pop round and have a go.
15. Pics coming soon, but today was delivered my Snapdragon folding bass, and I gotta say 'I'm loving it!' :-) Spec here: http://www.snap-drag...-e-bass-4-p.asp I'm taking it to rehearsal on Saturday, so we'll see if it's good for metal
16. Because of the lighter body I was worried about neck dive, but Jon doesn't think that will be a problem. I asked if it would be ready before Christmas, and Jon said yes!
17. IIRC the buy-on for Skid Row, when they supported Bon Jovi on the New Jersey tour back in 1989, was $50,000.00. In that case it was financed by the record company and definately paid off.
18. And you could sign on during the holidays...
