1. Had a Fender Bassman amp head. Took it to Andy's Guitars on Demark Street, for a commission sale. Andy Preston sold it, didn't give me the money, was subject to CCJ's, then went bankrupt, while managing to keep his Rolls Royce. So £500 loss.

 4.
I saw him with Dave Lee Roth after Sheehan left. When it got to Billy's solo part in one of the songs he just stopped playing.

 5. Any bassist who can replace Billy Sheehan must be doing something right.

 14. This fine upstanding gentleman sold me a mighty fine Charvel bass, he even brought it to where I was staying. Next time I'm in Southampton I'll try and catch one of his bands. I would be happy to deal with him again and can heartily recommend.
 15.
I think I'm decided that I'm using my Mac for effects from now on (we need a laptop on stage anyway and it makes it easier to have separate effects lines for my bass and my synth, plus potential for sequencing the synth) but it does mean selling my Future Impact if I'm not going to be using it. I'm not sure how to price it given that it seems over-subscribed at the moment. Suggestions?
Trading it may be an option?
 16. Off the top of my head, and for various reasons not limited to just being influenced by (and in no particular order): Mark Mendoza (Twisted Sister) Nikki Sixx Billy Sheehan Stuart Hamm Larry Graham

The Behringer holds its own against all the others. The core tone of each was actually quite similar. If the same pedal was not a Behringer and not a 10th the price of some of the others, it would probably be lauded on its own merits.
 18. I look after my gear. I don't see it as 'babying'.
