1. If I had the space I would never have got rid of all the basses I used to own.
2. The OP is not responsible for the actions of the driver, or the actions of Parcelforce management. Had my property been treated the same way I would probably have done the same thing, and would have absolutely no guilt at the outcome.
3.
I think with a big enough amp, time and space will move around it...
In which case it should be named 'the Continuum'
4. Earlier this year, only the bar staff were present for the first set and they wondered off, so we were playing to literally no-one.

6.
We have 3 so safety in numbers :-)

7. I've been in bands who wouldn't have been able to do 3 songs in 14 days :-(
8. I think there is psychology involved. At some point the size of an audience rather than being a number of individuals, becomes one audience. As you are then dealing with one entity, it can be easier psychologically to deal with.
9. 14 songs in 3 days? Impressive
10.
Well.... The speakers are in and wired up, and I have to say it's possibley the best and lousiest cab I've ever heard! I can't hear any phase issues what's so ever. Is a little on the heavy side now tho haha. I played it through it for 2 hours straight with drums and guitar and it just sounded like a good cab. 11. Attitude limited 3. Just shy of £2,500.00 at GAK. http://www.gak.co.uk...CFQgOwwodx00A2Q
12.
The E-MU Shortboard only has a 12dB/octave lowpass filter. Wouldn't this miss out some of the 24dB/octave filter bass sounds. The Mini-Brute and Mini-Nova have far more flexible filtering than the shortboard, I think.
But again it's adding gear to what needs to be taken to a gig. Plus the extra sound checking issues.
13. I've never been able to 'tame' a Mutron. I'm getting close with a flanger but can't stop the wah type decay.
14. Mastering can be the difference between your album sound like a demo or a release quality product.
15. I've got a Dementor VTBP -201S. Well, a modelled one on my Digitech BP 355
16. I would like to think a bass guitar is just a tool to do a job. They are made to be be played so I play them. However my custom Shuker is the best bass in the world and my Hamer Blitz is a keeper
17. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MA2awavT6VM If it ain't stopping this guy you've got no excuse. And I'll post it first so no-one else is tempted 'I'd give my right arm to be able to play like that'.
18. I ha IMO
I'd be programming music on a computer
I've got a Yamaha QY 70. Awesome bit of kit, and perfect for when you can not play.
19.
Ed Friedland (aka The Bass Whisperer) just reviewed the new DR Pure Blues and he talked about "The Fried Chicken test" :-D
That was Jaco' s trick, chicken fat. Must have been a bit smelly on stage?
20.
Rust should not be a problem after six months, although it could be due to the acid in your sweat. Perhaps you should consider putting a sachet of silica gel in your guitar case. The only other thing you can do, besides wiping down the strings after each practice, is to wash your hands before playing.
Yep definitely this.
21. Post pics anyway. It'll be like Bullseye 'look at what you could have won'
22. Pics would help. Are they noticeable or in a place a regularly gigged bass would have them? Autocorrect changed gigged to hugged lol.
