1. Bearing in mind Macca bought his Hofner because it was a cheaper copy of the Gibson he could not afford, it's funny the way things have turned out.
2. I like that!
3.
Price now £239 with a further 10% off if you sign up to the email updates. Mode in ear headphones (current selling price £45) included too. Got to say, I'm tempted.
Tried to buy one, but the 10% discount does not apply to the new price, so sod 'em!
4. ATM a light small class D power amp.
5. I'm guessing it's not much good for metal?

7. Saw them years ago at the MK Bowl. Gillan was blatantly just going through the motions. The only person playing like he meant it was Steve Morse. So will be giving this one a miss.
8. Iron Maiden Powerslave t-shirt from 1984. It's a bit grey now. which reminded me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ul72F0YaAcU
9. can it approximate a bass sound similar to the one on Smooth Criminal? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_D3VFfhvs4
10.
So the socket is both an output AND an input? That's a neat trick. I can imagine some other applications for that technology ...
http://www.trustedreviews.com/marshall-london-review "At the top are what look like two 3.5mm headphone jacks, but these actually function as dual inputs and outputs, so as well as being able to share listening with a friend, you can plug a mic in to record as well, which is a nice touch."
11.
Not found a way to plug my bass into it yet though
I was under the impression that the 2 headphone outputs are also inputs, and there is a 4 track DAW already installed? Or have I totally misunderstood their advertising blurb?
12. So after the initial hype, did anyone here buy the Marshall phone?
13. The last time I was in New York I bought a CD. It still has the receipt in the case from where I bought it, which reads 'World Trade Centre'
14.
Amp on hold.
thank Goodness! now I don't have to give in to temptation and spend money I don't have on an awesome amp.
15. IMO it had all been done after Larry Graham & Bootsy. But that's just me
16. It had all been done in the 60's when the Ox came along. Then, it had all been done in the 70's when Jaco came along. Then it had all been done in the 80's when Billy Sheehan came along. Then it had all been done in the 90's when Victor Wootten came along.
17. I'll have a look at that Scott Devine vid later.
18.
I'm sure Akai would have something to say about it all.
Doh! Meant Akai. Typed Akai and it must have autocorrected to Korg
19. Me too, but only on the computers at work.
20. There's obviously demand for the original Deep Impact pedals, if Korg don't want to make them anymore why don't they let someone else under license?
21. I use one of these. Must have had it over 10 years, done all kinds of gigs with it (big/small, indoor/outdoor etc) on bass and guitar, and its never let me down. Quality bit of kit. GLWTS.
22. There have been periods of my life where money was no object and I was able to buy what I wanted. But the only answer to the OP is: The next one.
23. As requested, more pics.
24. The Ox took bass playing as far as it could go and that was in the 60's. Then Larry Graham took bass playing as far as it could go and that was in the 70's. Then Billy Sheehan took bass playing as far as it could go and that was in the 80's. Then Victor Wooten took bass playing as far as it could go and that was in the 90's. Etc. I think the point is, there is no such thing as taking bass playing as far as it can go.
