1.
Evening all, I'm looking for some Good recommendations for a decent multi effects unit similar to the Line 6 Bass pod Xt live or the Boss GT10B? These are two i quite like the spec on but they don't seem to be very easy to come by? I've seen the Rocktron B300 Utopia on Thomann that after a brief look seems fairly close spec to the line 6 but i've never heard of them and wondered if anybody have any experience with them? A new project is going to require some quite heavy effects and I want a decent effects unit i can use whilst writing and doing some live stuff as well as having the USB interface for home recording. I also know a lot of people will say to steer clear and stick to individual stompboxes but for what i'm after a multi effects will be better due to the variety its going to give me whilst experimenting, Just need some advice on a decent unit to look at. Thanks Alex
Digitech BP355 Wouldn't be without mine. Does all you want and more. Has drums to play along with, and even a nice selection of guitar amps should you feel inclined. Under £100 too!
 2.
I`m curious - why did the original speakers get changed & why change them for a different brand and type? Are the Q values etc the same for the new drivers as the originals?
I bought it from Mike (now of Purple Chilli fame) and after discussion with him about upgrading the speakers, these are what I chose. Power handling, weight, and that they sounded great were deciding factors.
It's the guitar strings that get me. Nice fat bass strings (flats) are kind to the fingers, but skinny strings make them sore.
I use 11's on guitars, it's only the wound G String that is stopping me going heavier.

 15. But what is a Fender? Anything with a Fender logo? IIRC the current Fender company just own the original blueprints and trademarks. The original factory, machines, and craftsmen are no longer with us. It's all about the 'brand' .
 16. TalkSport or Radio 4, on the wireless in the car. At home either music I'm learning or playing along with for my bands. That's not to say I don't still buy music. I downloaded Reign in Blood recently (only took 30 years to finally get it) but haven't blasted it out yet.
