[/quote] Agree with this. Gigs soon become mighty uncomfortable with the bass body digging into your forearm. It's why I had to get rid of my MM Sub, which was otherwise a great bass.

Yes I bought my Gibson melody maker flying V from them for an insanely low price. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. I would have no problem buying from them again. But do try the price match thing [size=4] [/size]

Seems simple enough with a pick, but I'm a finger player so currently finding it a bit challenging.

Another possible option, is to use a Hipshot X tender, like wot I do. It means I play a 4 string, but there are only 3 notes I don't have that a 5er does.
