3.
"Dixie" Dave Collins from Weedeater is known for puking during gigs without missing a note. https://www.youtube....h?v=lYPyVDb75xc
Wasn't that Johnny Rotten's trick?

5. seriously considering cheating and using a pic. here's Dave Jr showing how it's done nothing too technically challenging it's just relentless! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oah2HSQlps
6. i cannot believe that happened, seroius shock here. so serious, i have to edit my inability to spell serious!
7.
That's brilliant - could make some money on the replica shirt sales!
Didn't Wet Wet Wet once sponsor a local team? I know whose name I'd rather have on my footy top :-)
8.
So what is the approximate weight of it now? Cheers
Weight is a nats over 8 1/2 lbs.
9.
We're not exactly the youngest band. I'd probably have been a million times keener if I was ten or fifteen years younger minus the wife, kids and job! I'm 33 and the band range from 28 to 44.
Show the rest of the band this thread.
10. Seems simple enough with a pick, but I'm a finger player so currently finding it a bit challenging.
11.
Where are you and can you post? Thanks.
I now have a padded Warwick gigbag and a big box, so will be able to post securely for £40.00.
12. Another possible option, is to use a Hipshot X tender, like wot I do. It means I play a 4 string, but there are only 3 notes I don't have that a 5er does.
13. 2 things. Seeing Nikki Sixx running around, posing and throwing shapes. Being able to better transfer classical guitar technique to bass rather than electric guitar.
14. Are the measurements the size of the case, or the size of the keyboard it can contain?
15.
I spoke to a guitarist a few years back who had one of these. http://www.backaxe.com/gtr.html The company may have a bass version.
That's the kind of thing. I wonder if an Army surplus store would have something similar and cheaper?
16. Do they exist? Maybe some kind of harness arrangement? Has anyone done it so you can sling your hardcase over your back?
17.
Save money and kill two birds with one stone by eating a KFC, then without wiping your hands, play the bass. Feels about the same and is just as attractive, IME. Horrible stuff.
If it was good enough for Jaco...
18. I thought about starting this thread myself when I heard yesterday, but I wasn't sure enough BC'ers would know who he was. I first saw Twisted Sister on The Tube in 1982. Then on Top of the Pops with 'I am I'm me', and that was it, hooked for life. My top 3 gigs are all Twisted Sister gigs. 55 years old, that's no age these days. Cause of death doesn't seem to have been reported yet.
19. For example if the drummer has to pay extra for a kit, should the extra cost be split with everyone else ?
20. Not in the reformed PiL as he wanted more money than everyone else, according to Lydon' s latest biography.
