2.
Are there more up to date drivers on the manufacturer's web site? Does the manufacturer even have a web site? I couldn't find one.
they were taken over by Digitech. The website seems to have just been left, and doesn't seem to have been used for a few years. The J-Edit software I have is what is currently on the site. 4.
There's someone posting in items wanted for a Tecamp combo and you've got at least two people interested in the 2x12...
ooh ta, I'll have a look.
 5. I'm using this, so not sure about drivers. http://www.inta-audio.com/keyboards-midi-c155/midi-interfaces-c164/pulse-md100-usb-midi-interface-p1288
 6. As my computer does not have Midi ports, I've got a midi to USB lead, that I use with my J Station for downloading patches and using the software. It works most of the time, but more often than not I have unplug then plug in the USB and start over because the J Editor freezes or I get the 'cannot find drivers' dialogue box. I'm guessing this is to do with the USB port not being a midi one? Should this make a difference? ta.
 7.
Si, you absoutely need to add to the list - even if you don't use them with the Dogs - a Kirk-Hammett-style-mosquito sound, and a Dave Mustaine-style-angry-wasp sound, or your metal cred will be seriously dented... \m/ \m/
they were among the first patches I downloaded!
 8.
And feedback ... don't forget the feedback.
well the feedback goes without saying!
 9. Shadows type lead bluesy lead big lead sound wah lead Santana type lead clean rhythm acoustic sounding rhythm funky picking rhythm funky picking rhythm with a nats of delay rhythm distortion Stonesy rhythm heavier distortion rhythm Mick Ronson type rhythm bugger, that's 13 innit?
 10. I've got a Johnson. J Station that is. I've had it a while but not got around to using it until recently. I'm loving it so far. Theyre quite cheap if you see them on ebay, and although the forums haven't been used for a couple of years, there are still plenty of patches available for download.
 11.
Who would thank their dad for, say, the sort of 80s bass that you couldn't play except in a Wham tribute band?
me!
And I really think getting something that's very 2013 would be a disaster.
but getting something 2013 is kind of the point. BTW it's 'Wham!'
 12.
Gotta be something unique to 2013 - some kinda ltd run us jazz / p bass / stingray if one pops up next yr.
would agree with this. and congrats!

 15. will sell rig for £999.99. I don't want to split it. Will take paypal if you want to cover the fees (3.4% + £0.20 GBP) but bank transfer would be preferred.
 16. will now post. £89.99 all in.
 17. turning both knobs almost full on seems to do something nice. I'm gonna be using my J-Station for bass and guitar soon, so may start another thread 'my compressor has 4 knobs!'.
 18. Sounds like the beginning of a joke, "so Prince, Stevie Wonder and Larry Graham walk in to a bar..." when did it happen?
 19. another no here. Heavier the better for me for tone and feel
 20.
Really? What did he modify? Did you get it directly from him? I've heard he's a nice enough guy.
TVM 600 head in the combo upgraded on the treble to give an extra 6db of boost at 11khz, 600w RMS @ 2ohm. Combo runs at 4ohms. I got it from the Bass Merchant when Mike (Zoot) was still running it.
