    You should be able if the musicians were any good and used the time signatures. So 6/8 would have a 1-2 feel with accents on beats 1 and 4; 12/8 would have a 1-2-3-4 feel with accents on beats 1-4-7-10; 4/4 would maintain the standard 4 beat emphasis.

    I'm enjoying playing it, so that alone justifies buying it 😆 I'm trying a lighter touch with my picking hand, but I know bass guitar technique is not the way to go. Also I need to work on left hand muting. As an aside, given the price point, being Ibanez I would have assumed they were made in Japan, but they are made in Indonesia.

    Not sure if this counts but I've just got an EUB which I'll be using in one of my bands. I've never had one before, or played one in anger. It's a different technique and I can already see there is a lot of practice I need to do.

    I bought it! 😁 I'll write more later, but first impressions were it's easy to play, although gonna have to brush up on technique. I thought I'd find my own way, and played quite happily in the shop for about 20 minutes. However when I got home my picking fingers were aching, so I'm gonna need some advice!

    Noel has a £20million divorce so Oasis may be reforming? Does anyone care who the rest of the band will be? Will Liam claim to have a sore throat and bunk off a few gigs, or will there be a fight a few songs in which will mean the rest of the reunion gigs are cancelled? More news tomorrow...
