1. Bump for tonights gig at The Telegraph on Putney Heath. Should be a gud 'un!
 2.
Still up for grabs?
Yup, but only for collection as I don't have any packaging and have no idea about postage costs.
 3.
I'd like to add my bit and say what a fun time I had on Saturday, epsecially the jam space and Pauls effort on the electric skins. Sibob's talk was a highlight, especially his dancing 51m0n and compressors was informative and I *think* I can do it now, or at least, get a more sensible use out of it. Maybe next time I'll pluck up more courage to talk to more people and maybe ask if I can try some rigs or basses As an addtion, why the M25 was broken on Saturday... http://www.getsurrey...5_bridge_plunge
did you get the book? I left it on the For Sale table with your user-name on it.
 4. The day went too fast, I didn't get a chance to chat to talk to a load of people, didn't manage to try all the gear I wanted to, and I missed Si's fx talk, and was probably the only person not to win anything in the raffle Otherwise had a great time Lots of fun in the jam room, and thanks to Seashell for putting up with myself and billyapple ABing Les Paul's! Many thanks to all involved, here's to the next
 5.
Nik, as far as I know, Paul will be there (and so will I, and Simon). We'll all be missing Jack but hopefully a day's rest will allow him to feel better.
yep I can confirm we will have a drummer. Bl00dy good one too, plays in a rather mavellous band...
 6. so the order seems to be: 1. Si600 2 silentbob 3 Lenny B 4. steve-soar 5. Geek99 Si600 i'll see you tomorrow!
 7.
Go on then
first at the bassbash?
 8.
£350. No trades thanks. I think that's a cracking price for a proper $$.
i could not find a big enough size font to fully do justice to my +1. I wouldn't be suprised if this gets snapped up tonight. And if it doesn't get snapped up tomorrow my suprise will turn to astonishment.
 9.
I've got one I could bring, but it's not pink. Will that make a tonal difference?
Possibly, but mines pink enough to make up for it
 10. i come back to this thread every now and then just to drool
 11.
A pedantic northern gobsh*te writes..................... What they had was Old PeculiEr - not PeculiAr. The A version meaning particular or strange , the E version denoting an area containing places of worship. Thus Old Peculier is named for the ancient parish of Masham.
I was drinking it, not reading it
 12. By all means flame me if required, but as there will be guitars in the drum room, if anyone has a Gibson LP they could bring I'd like to AB it with my TS Epi LP.
 13. Meant to post this at the time. A beer from the Southampton beer fest, brewed in honour of Jet. Apparently he was local?
 14. so, anyone going to the SE Bash who wants it first?
 15.
I think sometimes you get an over-abundance of musicians in the audience, and a majority of them would rather watch you play than dance about.
that's me. I'm the one staring intently at the bass player!
 16.
four old geezers playing rock music.
oi! three, and one not quite as old
 17. Does intelluctual property rights not apply?
 18.
My apologies! Haha, I used to have both so got mixed up, make that an EDB 600, I'll change it in the morn!
still waiting for that change
 19. last night's gig was very much a last minute affair - the call came through at lunchtime. A gig on a school night? What the hell, why not. It was for a do in a pub on the river (Thames), not sure if it was a birthday or engagement, but we announced both. Despite being asked to play quietly for the first few numbers, then turn up as more people were in the pub, we had a full dance floor and the punters seemed to like us. There were a couple of minor issues (i need to have another look at my noise gate) but overall a great paid rehearsal for our gig next week - details to follow on the gigs forum. They even had Old Peculiar on tap - dangerous for a school night! Unfortunately my enduring memory of the night, will be that on the way home on the tube, a woman opposite projectile vomited on the woman sat next to me. I sh1t you not.
 20. Good gig, MacWifey enjoyed it too Great db sound too, a lot of clarity and not just a dull thunk. unfortunately I won't be able to make the November one as my uni course is on Wednesdays .
 21. at the moment i rarely play any of mine, as I play guitar in the band I'm currently in. It's nice just having them here though, sort of like a comfort thing.
