1. and so, I finally decided not to add a second pup, but I have got a black Tonepros AVT2 bridge to replace the none adjustable wraparound which is on it.
2.
8) BTW....The long-awaited definitive book on the history of Hamer Guitars is actually FINALLY coming out in a couple of months!!! I think that will also be a bit of a catalyst to re-spark interest in Hamers. I shot some of the photos http://www.schifferb...n=9780764343520
is that "Serial Steve"?
3.
Meet ya halfway, £85.............
pm'd
4.
£80 posted?
sure, as long as it comes with an extra £9.99
5. The theatre show of Rock Of Ages, is both genius and cheese. The film is a grave disappointment.
6. Wal's are fugly. IMO YMMV
7. yup. Why should guitarists have all the fun?
8.
Possibly the reason for the start of their demise??
i'm guessing the rock/metal market for guitars is the biggest and therefore the most lucrative?
9. Love my Hamers's. A blitz bass and a Chapparal guitar. Didn't they pull out of the rock/metal market in the 90's?
10.
, just goes to show what sh*t happens when you sell out to pop producers.
Yup, number 1 singles and albums in most territories, stadium gigs, millions of record sales, millions of £'s earned, and supermodel wifes/girlfriends. Where can I find some pop producers to sell out to?
11.
Hi do you still have this plz?
yup
12. this is what i have been happily using for nearly 10 years. i've used it with guitars and basses- 5s and 6s and never had a problem. there is something inside the transmitter that you can tweak to suit the instrument that you are using.
13. i have a kindle keyboard 3G can't comment on the Fire but would be interested to know.
14. on the kindle now, can log in and basschat seems to be hale and hearty. many thanks to anyone from BC who helped with this!
15. according to Billy Sheehan, when you are stood up the bass should be in the same position on your body as when you are sat down practising. That way all your angles are the same and you are not changing position.
16. You can't really hear Newsted on And Justice For All, as he is pretty much doubling the guitar lines. I think there's a difference between not hearing the bassist when they are playing (and lost in the mix), and not hearing the bassist when they are not playing. You would probably know something was missing.
17. first bass I owned was a Blazer. Nice and light, plenty of bottom end, lovely neck. Should have keep it really, but in my naive youth a Fender P was where it was at, so it was p/x'd.
18. where ya bin?
19. Mick bought a guitar multi fx off me. Pleasure to deal with, can heartily recommend. Top banana!
20. If a band has a bass player, then obviously they can get in another bass player. But the OP is asking which artists would never be the same. So for example you can relace The Ox, and with a very competent player, but are The Who the same?
21. thanks all. I've put a post in the items wanted too to see what's out there in BC land.
22. ta, I'll have a look when I get a minute.
23.
That's a relief ,)
the display only has 2 digits (bank and channel) so I still need a map so I know which song starts where
