1.
@ LukeTessie - Whoa! Is he waiting for the tree to grow?! Have you phoned him? I'd be at his door tbh...
1 year - meh! mine took over 2 years, well worth the wait though
 2. ... if I buy online through German based companies like Thomann and Musik Produktiv? I know they have UK offices, but not sure if that makes a difference.
 3. Have been trying to use the Basschat mobile site, to see if it makes a difference but can't find it
 4. The Bitch on Bass from Rock Bitch played fretless - and used to do an awesome fretless slap solo. I'd post a link to Rockbitch but it would probably be NSFW and against the t&c's of Basschat
 5.
A great afternoon was had a this very exclusive gig. With some sweet slide guitar and some very sweet bass courtesy of Happy Jacks' '65P, OBT and Barefaced compact. I could not believe how good this cab sounded and how light it is. I played Roadie for a while and for those of you who don't know this kit, it's stupidly light. But, of course the high point of the afternoon was seeing MacDaddy in full flight with his shocking pink Twisted Sister Jay Jay French Sig Epi Les Paul.
kind of you to say so sir and cheers for the pix bluejay!
I'm not so sure.. He's got a pink guitar
real men dig pink
 6. JULY 2012 Sun 8th 3.00pm FREE Red Lion, 92-94 Linkfield Road, Isleworth, London 020 8560 1457 . The Junkyard Dogs first gig at this fine Isleworth boozer, after a few appearances at their popular Wednesday night open mike. There's food availble until 3.00pm, they have a selection of draught ales and a covered, heated terrace where smokers can wheeze in comfort. Come down for a jolly afternoon's entertainment and be home in time for Coronation Street. You'll have to miss Songs Of Praise, though. Sorry.
 7. quite a few people on here - me included - would happily pay you £56.00 if you sell it on
 8.
That's by design, innit. Do you see the tabs at the top? Forums, Members, Calendar, Shop, etc.? The 'View new content' button shows you the new content for whichever of the tabs you're in at the time. Personal messages are (rightly or wrongly) part of the 'Members' tab, so when you press the 'View new content' button when you're in PMs, it shows you new member activity. Similarly, if you press it in 'Calendar', you'll see new calendar activity. I'm just clarifying how it's designed to work - I'm not saying I like it.
So any idea about the sign in button?
 9. best let one of the techie mods know. i'll send a pm.
 10.
I think the site is a little too advanced for the kindle browser. I've never managed it myself either.
I can browse the site as a 'guest', I just can't log in. Not on my Kindle now obviously!
 11. When I try to sign in to Basschat on my Kindle, the sign in link takes me to a page with a list of members. Is this a Kindle problem or can Basschat resolve? ta.
 12.
That was good, that, when the toad-faced junkie, poseur and professional miserabilist Richard Wossname came unstuck. One of my happiest dreams was the one where I spent an afternoon stood over him, kicking him in the bollocks.
he also came a tad unstuck when returning home after The Verve's first tour. He hadn't paid the rent while away so the landlord locked him out of his flat. True story that.
 13.
This has to be the most frustrating for sale thread on here at the moment Well, for me at least. I'd love the 212 as I'm sure would the other guys who have posted. You'd have no problem selling these for a price then just buy a car with the cash, you'll only get a clunker if you trade for a car, it'll be no end of trouble and a money pit for sure. Be more trouble than it's worth I reckon. Come on, put a cash price on 'em.
but then I'd still be left with the combo, and by the time it sold, money from the cab sale would have been long gone! I'm lucky as I'm not selling because I have to, so can hold out for a trade for the full rig.
 14. "Broken PA, no monitoring, croaky vocals, free bar for three hours before playing ... what could possibly go wrong?" The Junkyard Dogs (which as regular readers will know, features 2 of Basschat's finest and the SE Bassbash drummer) at The Kings Head, Acton, that London on Friday. The plan was to turn up before the football and set up, watch the football, then do the gig when the football finished. So making use of the in-house PA - such as it was - we set up then prepared to enjoy the free booze tokens for the band and watch the football. 10 minutes in to the match, the TV lost it's digital reception. No analogue TV any more so no picture. I took this opportunity to nip to the Supermarket next door for a spare battery for my wireless. When I got back the remaining punters were watching the match on a laptop the barstaff had put on the stage. When we played the pub did fill up a bit, mainly the post footy crowd. From where I was stood on stage the sound of the band was great, I just hope that's what the audience heard out front. The vocalist was still suffering the effects of a lurgie, so some songs were dropped, but he battled on through - although kicking off a tune in G instead of A made my first solo sound a bit, er, jazzy lol. We did an encore, and left the punters wanting more so can chalk that one up as a success.
 15. Great gig, really enjoyed it. No probs getting home too
 16. Fri 15th 9.45pm FREE Kings Head, 214 High Street, Acton, London 020 8993 0295 . The Junkyard Dogs will be playing after the England-Sweden footy match. Plan a)..Celebrate the momentous victory of our courageous lions over the dark forces of the North. Plan b)...Get pissed. edited because Plan b) turned into a smiley!

 18.
the festival has lost its way somewhat.
i think this happened when they started to include dance music.
 19.
My download experience....I went and saw the Little Angels Download Warmup gig @ The Wedgewood rooms. Top night & I was back to the car and on the road in 5 mins
don't remember seeing you there! Truly awesome gig.
