  2. Yes, but he's made the same mistake he made last time by forgetting to include The Axe...
  3. Although he should have told them to F-right off, when Roth and the Van Halen brothers insisted that he sign away all future songwriting credit and royalties, retroactive with the 1984 LP. IMO.
  4. Although I like: Basschat "melius est quam operari" I'm sure a Latin scholar on BC will correct my conjugations! 😆
  5. I've always said you don't put enough effort into gigging 😉
  6. One of the great things about being a bassist, is that you can have fun playing the bass lines even if you are not into the style of music. I haven't got any disco albums but I love playing Bernard's bass lines.
  7. If that were the case, why did Matt Damon have to apologise?
  8. I could have started the post 'According to prominent members of the Me Too movement there is no line', but I thought irony would better get the point across. Seems I was wrong!
  9. My post contained a quote from Matt Damon's Wiki page, which should have been apparent by the included footnotes. It's "prominent members of the Me Too movement" y'all should be arguing with!
  10. There is no line. An unwelcome touch of knee is just as bad as being bruttally raped. The actor Matt Damon got in trouble for saying otherwise: Damon advocated for a "spectrum of behavior" analysis[186][187][188][189] of sexual misconduct cases, noting that some are more serious than others.[190][188][189] The comment caused offense to prominent members of the Me Too movement[190][191] and the public for being "tone-deaf in understand[ing] what abuse is like".[191][190]
  11. Late to the party on this one, but I would have recommended you take a look at this thread: £129 bass played at Glastonbury. A BC member in the thread bought one and rates it well. But I hope you get on with your HB Jazz.
  12. Or get a life size Ronnie O'Sullivan cutout and put a Gear for Music sticker on it? 😜
  13. "You do a thing with your lip, stop doing it!" 🤣
  14. Beyonce personally, or promoters/ticket seller?
  15. Disagree. "A bloody good grudge... was like a fine old wine. You looked after it carefully and left it to your children". ©T.Pratchett.
  16. I hope he hasn't been playing the bass through that guitar combo! 😖
  17. Not bass, but I've got a Japanese Squier - not Squire! - Silver Series Telecaster. Maybe I lucked out, but I've tried plenty of USA Fender Telecaster's and haven't yet found one which plays and sounds any better.
  18. In Mexico, Fender have a Mexican bloke using the CNC machines. In California, Fender have a Mexican bloke using the CNC machines...
