1. like that one, I do. As someone posted earlier quality porn
2.
From a counting point of view, 6/4 = 4/4+2/4 but they are NOT necessarily the same; 2/4+2/4 =4/4 but likewise, they're NOT necessarily the same in terms of strong/weak accents and/or rhythmic intent....Good luck with the reading. .
what I was gonna say.
3. cheers guys, but I've already got something that can slow down, cut sections, etc. Hopefully as Dazzlovski says, I can get re-booted.
4. matches and wood glue, is what I do.
5. I like. What's the neck like?
6. sorry guys, I think it sounds terrible!
7.
Maybe you don't like the numbers. I learn the interesting stuff in 2 mins but numbers I really don't like take weeks!
i take your point, but I do like the band and think the music is great.
8. my musical ear that is. I've been playing a fair few years now, and have never had problems listening to stuff from CDs (etc) and working it out, but lately I've been checking out bands and learning stuff for auditions and it is such a struggle. I spent a hour trying to figure out, what turned out to be a simple 4 note fill. Maybe it's because I haven't been in a band for a while, and haven't gigged since July? Whatever it is, it's annoying and frustrating
9. Not sure if this will throw a spanner in the works, but I'd be grateful for some advice. This is my rig, it's a 2x10 combo on top, and a 2x12 cab underneath. Thing is in both, the speakers are wrapped, so one is at the front, and the other is angled behind it. Would the same advice still hold for this arrangement?
10.
Very nice! I remember it from the South East Bash in August... Uber light IIRC?
and fits nicely in the boot of my car (a saloon)
11.
Some very nice gear tho'.. What are the physio/osteopath bills like per month guys?
which is why I also have this:
12. *to be said in ones best Kent Brockman's voice* My 2 cents! Discussion and topics on dislikes are equally as valid as ones on likes. If someone wants to hate a band or style of music and express that opinion, as long as it's within the boundaries of the T&C's agreed on sign up, then go for it. Hatred can be productive in musical subculture, ie. if there had not been hatred for bands labelled prog, there may never have been punk. Opens up a wider debate, and a new topic. After 2 years of been continually forcefed bebop jazz at college on a music course (which was meant to cover all styles) I have since held a hatred for that genre. Fortunately I don't get to hear any now, so it doesn't worry me
13.
You call that a rockstar pose pffffft this is a rockstar pose
well if it's Rock Star pose mode:
14.
"Psychoactive effects of adrenochrome include euphoria, confusion, changed train of thought, and inability to concentrate" Ah most guitarists then
but are there any negative effects?
15. I have live recordings on video, some of me playing sober, and some of me not sober. There is no noticeable difference. If I am driving I do not have any alcohol at all.
16.
Mememememememe. I soooooooooooo want one of those, I will find one eventually
a few years ago, there was one in one of the Denmark Street shops, with a notice saying it was the one Rik Savage used to own. It was going for a couple of grand. I thought 'if it's not good enough for Rick Savage, then it's not good enough for me!'.
17.
nice one, thanks!
+1 Top man!
18. no-one I can think of but I've just been in a film with Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me, The Kumars at 42) and Gordon Kennedy (Absolutely, Robin Hood)
19. +3 = 938 + 3 _________ 941
20. Not sure where I am on this one. My rig was custom made and a bit expensive so a stranger wanting to use my amp - no way. And wanting to use my bass - f*** off! And anyone expecting to use gear gear without even asking will be denied on principle. But I've met some cool people on here I know I could trust with my gear, but they would be the people who take their own gear in the first place. A Behringer DI with amp modelling is a bit over £20.00, so there's no excuse really. But touring with a foreign band in this country and letting them use your backline, so that when you go to their country and tour you use theirs, fair enough I suppose. So long as they have some respect for the equipment.
21.
no, i wouldnt have thought so same as the boss bassman pedal was designed for guitar i guess
from the Fender website: The ’50s Fender Bassman was the pro bassist’s answer to amplifying a great new invention: the Fender Precision Bass® guitar. This powerful 50-watt rig could easily compete with the common instrumentation of the day: horns, piano, four-piece drum kit with calfskin heads, and maybe even an electric guitar through a nice, new 10-watt amp! By the ’60s and ’70s, the original all-tube “Tweed” 4x10 Bassman was popular with rock, country and blues guitarists as a reliably great-sounding and easy-to-use guitar amp. Even some emerging British amp designers of the day copied its circuitry for use in their most celebrated designs.
I hate to complicate things, but don't forget: etc. etc.
er, this is actually the guitar floor pod. The bass floor pod has less amp models, and less effects (inc no delay) and all for the same price!
24. Isn't the Fender Bassman a bass-specific amp?
