Great day, but gutted to have missed the Bootsy Bass - whose was it? Too much nice gear to single out a favourite, but I must mention s_u_y_*'s vintage P. Finally a P that felt right, was not too big, balanced well, sounded great, and was not too heavy. Why was mine not like that! With all the talented playing going on, how about some kind of master-class thing, for next time? Thanks again to Nik, Merton, and Walman

use 3 fingers, nearer to the bridge when speed is needed. A bit of thumbing too, in the odd place can beef up the sound.

So after about 7 years of faultless performance my Audio Technica wireless finally decided to give up on me. No sound, but if you jiggle the ariel on the transmitter pac, it cuts in and out. I've emailed Audio Technica about a replacement transmitter, but have had no reply. Unfortunately they no longer make the model. So are transmitters fixable, or are they notoriously none fixable? If anyone near Luton fancies having having a fiddle I would be awfully grateful and honour bound to supply a few pints in the process.
