i used to have one of those Trace combo's. 1x15 and 500w. Did the job,never let me down, lovely.

Good idea in principle, but I would imagine the logistics of the thing would be a nightmare. Having said that, I'd persuade my lot to play

Hey Gaf how does the MB stack compare to your old Trace stack?

John has done some work on a couple of basses of mine over the last year. I'm currently planning my own dream bass with him, and have been trying to give him money for it for about 3 months LOL! I'll be doing my own thread when the build starts, but can't wait to see your pix.

One of my bands, Bordel, use baritone tuning for the guitars The other, Highest Order Of Angels, is standard tuning. I use a 5 er and have a 4 tuned BEAD.

you could try the Hat Factory [url="http://www.luton.gov.uk/hatfactory"]http://www.luton.gov.uk/hatfactory[/url] not sure what their rates are, but it's local authority run so shouldn't be too expensive. Not sure about anywhere free though. rmbasses is a bass luthier from Luton, if he's come across he may have some input.
