I bought it here from a Basschater 😎
Bit of a bargain at under 26p per watt 😆
I managed to have a fiddle with it at the Bash. Probably need to do more fiddling to find my sound, but the 'deep' preset sounded pretty good. The eq is mightily versatile.
@BillyBass's Charvel's were gas inducing, and @eude and I managed to compare the ACG Mule and Rob Allen Mouse. There's very little if anything between them. The feel, weight, sound, are practically the same, but a new Mule costs the same as a pre-owned Mouse.
No @Silvia Bluejay no blog? 😳
I didn't take any pics too busy chatting and playing gear.
Highlights included @orangefriday's exhaust pole bass; @Merton's new Trace amp - the only one in the UK; @Happy Jack's lightweight not-a-Lull made by @Andyjr1515.
Ian King's talk was entertaining and informative with some sublime playing.
I made it back to that London before the downpour so had a dry load in.
Peavey Vypyr VIP III. Love it, had it 6-7 years now, at one point it was gigged - bass and guitar - pretty much twice a week for over a year.
Loud enough for pub gigs on bass. I'm taking it to the SE Bass Bash if you are going, and want a try.
That's almost 2 inches from what is claimed, which makes a big difference when we're talking about micro-heads.
But apart from that...
Haven't had chance to play above 'bedroom' levels, but I'm taking it to the SE Bass Bash tomorrow, and will be A/B'ing it with Lozz's Ashdown rig.
My recommendation, the Digitech BP355
Often available for under £100.
Bass and guitar amp models, but can also be used just for fx.
Looper and drum machine.
Easy to use, awesome bit of kit.
Gigworthy sturdiness, mine has seen me through 3 bands.
Wunjo Bass that London.
I wanted to try a Peavey Vypyr VIP III, but they didn't have any in stock. Actually up to that point they'd never had any.
Laurence said to me they would order one, I could try it, and if I didn't like it no worries because it's a cool thing to have in the shop.
I did like it, they price matched and free delivery
I've bought other stuff - multi fx; comfort strap; etc - and they have always been lovely.
Well, a shot in the dark, is one step away from you, while a walk in the park, is a step in the dark, and it's the things that you do, that will make me feel alright.
Hope that helps 😜
