    I saw them on their UK tour before Covid. It was a real mind blowing moment, when I saw Tom playing his 12 string, and noticed when he was just playing the lowest string (of the 3). It never occurred to me that you could do that! 🤣

    I have seen bands with the PA speakers behind them, and without any feedback being produced. Not sure how they managed it.

    No experience of the above, but I have a Digitech BP355 because I needed the guitar sims as well as the bass ones.

    Shoot outs between a brands price points are interesting and useful. Eg. Between various Precisions: Squier, Mexican, Japan, USA, Custom shop. @ceteracould probably supply all the basses for a Spector shoot out! 🤣

    I wonder how comparitively loud, 2 Elf's would be? I'm guess the physics are not as simple as 2 x 200w amps = 1 x 400w amp! 😁 But seriously, bearing in mind the size, could 2 Elf's and 2 speakers, be a viable option?

    Best sound I ever had, was a 60w Trayner combo. Warm bottom end, that wasn't muddy and actually cut through. Had to let it go as it wasn't loud enough for the gigs I was doing at the time.

    Although this is a guitar, I'm think of the possibilities for bass. Probably a through neck, so the base bass is a fully playable 'cricket bat' type bass, then interchangeable flying V, and Rickenbacker type bodies.
