    I'm reminded of the Bill Shankly(?) quote "if he's not interferring with play, he shouldn't be on the pitch!" So to paraphrase "if his bass can't be heard, he shouldn't be on the stage!".

    I was never impressed with Flea's tone, and I think it was that association with GK which coloured my opinion of them. Until I was at one of the SW Bass Bashes, and I played through @silverfoxnik (?) GK amp and it sounded awesome. The low mid control was especially effective.

    There's a live album by Dokken - Unleashed in the East - and regardless of what you think about the music, Jeff Pilson's bass is big and fat, fills the space, but also cuts through.

    I wonder how accurate Boss pedals on Boss multi fx are? I mean is the circuitry for the ODB-3 on my ME-50B exactly what's in the ODB-3 pedal?
