    One of the selling points and main convenience of Mono cases - the Verigo, and the Sleeve - is they are top loading. Why would you have Mono make a case for you that has to laid flat to open? 😕

    I would say the mediocre player with the £3k super bass. The vast majority of what we play as bassists in 'popular music' can be adequately played by a mediocre player, so I'd quite like to see the super bass

    Absolutely nothing wrong with my TecAmp Puma 500. It sounds great, has never let me down, suits the gigs I play (or played) and is nice and light. So why am I gassing for a new amp? 🤔

    Use a multi fx with a volume pedal. More to carry overall, but it won't be around your neck when you're playing

    In which case a Behringer V Amp Pro and a Behringer FCB1010 MIDI Foot Controller, would more than do the job.

    Why have knobs at all? Wire the pup directly to the output. No tone controls or volume controls needed.

    For most gigs there was no going through the PA. The rare occasion I did, true. A DI preamp and fx pedals would not be my first choice, but happy to sacrifice some of 'my sound' for convenience. It's not like the audience knew the difference or cared 🤣
