    I went with a friends band when they played at an American airbase. Once through the gates it was like stepping into the states. Can't remember how we got drinks as I'm sure the bar only took dollars.

    Ampeg PF's still sound like Ampegs*, so not sure why TE can't get close. *obviously they don't sound like full fat valve monsters, but they have an Ampeg sound. Or at least my PF350 did when I put it through a 4x10

    These, light and long. Even though my basses are mid scale (32') they have extended fretboards for the low D, so I need long strings.
