  2. Not a band, but I once had the privilege of jamming with Peter King. Not an understatement to say I was out of my depth, but wow 😎
  3. Does the pedal have to be a TC Electronic Switch-3 Controller Pedal?

More importantly, have you put NAD pics up in the Gear Porn forum
  5. Bargain prices on the RH heads recently too. Do they know something about TC Electronics that we don't?
  6. According to website given for purchasers in the USA, they are digital: https://westshellinc.com/products/swiff-ws-50-wireless-guitar-system
  7. sort of fuzzy, but similar to how a CD sounds when it's skipping.
  8. I used them at an audition on Tuesday night albeit on guitar not bass. There was a tad of interference (drop out) which depended on where I was standing, moving sorted it though. Noticeable sound difference - i.e. better - when I switched to my OBBM lead. I think they are going to be adequate on a bigger stage, and fine for home use. You gets what you pay for.
  9. Maggie May In my defence it's not really a bassline is it? Is a guitar part played on the bass and as such it's all over the place.
  10. JoinMyBand Gumtree The Facebook has some popular musicians wanted pages PartySounds - although I think they are just on the Facebook now?
  11. Once more I give you Bootsy 😎
  12. Does this mean changing your username to Sarah4string?
  13. The self titled 'beach on Bass' from the band Rockbitch, played fretless, and rather well too. Probably best not to Google them from work though..
  14. They arrived earlier, and fully charged. First impressions, they seem a tad more substantial than my other budget wireless (Xvive, Dinner, Getaria) and the sound quality seems to be better, although at the moment I'm just playing through headphones. There are some nice touches, like the battery indicator and the matching green 'on' light. The hinge has sufficient resistance so that it stays where you fold it. Here's the biggie though, there is some interference when my phone is near, although to be fair I only noticed it when my phone was next to the receiver.
  15. This chap does some interesting reviews on cheap wireless, here's his take on it.
  16. i've just ordered these: Not on 2.4Ghz or 5 Ghz frequencies. I'll let you know how i get on. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B089W449Z3/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AYD48U20RPEWO&psc=1
  17. She's sold 50 million records you know...
  18. This! I'd be worried about what else they missed. Friday afternoon special?
  19. would you keep wearing your trousers if they were too tight? Why accept what you have if you can change it to what you want? Most of my guitars have re-shaped necks, or upgraded pups, or chamforing. Not my basses though 😜
  20. I love Traynor, utter bottom end without sounding muffled. GLWTS!
  21. Flattley Bass Poison Ivy Everything from a just breaking drive, to full on death metal/industrial nastiness, including nice synthy fuzziness. The blend is particularly awesome, with no loss of bottom end - if you want. Boutique pedal and price but worth it.
  22. I've just found out about these, and have been watching the demos. I like what I'm hearing. The small footprint is particularly desirable too. https://orangeamps.com/little-bass-thing/
