  1. My Xvives lasted a couple of years before the casing came apart. I'm currently using Getaria 2.4GHZ Wireless Guitar System, around the house, but haven't gigged them yet.
  2. Talks of trade deals involve privatisation of the NHS and selling it off to USA businesses. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-48516196
  3. I've never been an 'ANGRY JAZZ' player, but my tone could probably use a little more 'SUSAN!'.
  4. for me: intro and breakdown to '99 Red Balloons'. and all of 'Crawl' by Kings of Leon.
  5. many years ago when a student, I had a job part of which involved installing robots in car plants and at bicycle manufacturers. It was basically using industrial power tools with no training. I'm lucky i've still got all my limbs.
  6. "yes they bl00dy well are!" @Dad3353 / @Hellzero / @Deedee
  7. in answer to the OP didn't the guy from Supergrass use an Ibanez Blazer bass?
  8. Apparently Macca wanted the Gibson EB-1, but could not afford it, so got the Hofner, which was a cheaper copy.
  9. Hank Marvin. I was very much into my metal in the 80's, but when I saw The Shads' wow! Hank can hold his own against any shredder.
  10. 3 album deal come to an end after 3 albums? What am I missing?
  11. Edges. - I like my bass bodies to be contoured, so they don't dig in to my arm or stomach. Club like necks. - i have small hands so necks like the wrong end of a baseball bat are an immediate no.
  12. Not by spring, but possibly by next winter? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54949799
  13. best - Digitech Bass Synth Wah. No longer in production and are becoming quite collectable, with an increasing price to match. Very versatile pedal capable of far more than what most of the demos show. worst - Future Impact It's an amazing piece of kit and the sounds it's capable of are incredible. But to get the best out of it, you need to buy a cable which needs a computer programme, and ideally a midi pedal. All of which is far too complicated for me, being a bear of little brain.
